Allison Williams in Naeem Khan | UNICEF Snowflake Ball 2012

After stepping out for the Gotham Independent Film Awards the previous evening, you’d think Allison Williams might want to stay last night—but no, the “Girls” actress got glam once again for the annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball, which was held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

While I found her last look to be on the aging side, I see nothing but great things happening with this seafoam lace and silver shimmer sequin-embroidered long sleeved Naeem Khan gown that Allison slipped on for the ball. The sleek Spring 2013 dress is a mesmerizing beauty that complimented Allison in every way that you hope a dress will; she kept warm while showcasing her curves and allowing for her long cascading brunette curls to flow freely without distracting from the design.

Allison completed her look with metallic smoky eyes, a diamond cocktail ring, gold heels and a putty grey lacquered manicure.

Yay or nay: What do you think of Allison’s sequin sparkling dress?

Selita Ebanks in Romona Keveza | UNICEF Snowflake Ball 2012

Selita Ebanks stunned in a red gown on the blue carpet when she attended the 2012 UNICEF Snowflake Ball. The gorgeous 29-year-old model wore a fluttering Romona Keveza strapless silk organza and silk crepe gown with an asymmetric bodice, from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2012 evening collection.

The vivid red popped against Selita’s rich complexion and I adore the one tone darker shade of her glossy ruby lipstick. Although Selita had prominent bronze eye make-up, it didn’t overpower nor compete with her pout. | continue reading..

Kate Mara looked beautiful last night for the 2012 UNICEF Snowflake Ball, held at Cipriani 42nd Street, where she donned a vibrant coral sleeveless silk-chiffon long dress by Jason Wu.

This non-presented Resort 2013 floor-length design featured an attached delicate Chantilly lace tromp l’oeil mini dress underneath, which was faintly visible through the sheer colorful fabric that was tucked into a silver metallic belt.

Another element that stood out were Kate’s fierce gold leather “Hamper Laser Team” embellished platform Brian Atwood pumps! | continue reading..

Is there any doubt that Selena Gomez looked better than ever last night when she took the blue carpet by storm for the UNICEF Snowflake Ball? The annual benefit gala was held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

The 20-year-old actress-turned-singer looked so grown up and glamorous in her halterneck body-conscious vintage Dolce & Gabbana black gown, which featured velvet panels that were bordered with absolutely stunning gold bead work, rubies and crystals. A single strap fell across the open back for an extra sultry touch. | continue reading..

Uma Thurman in Atelier Versace | UNICEF Snowflake Ball 2012

Uma Thurman was the picture of holiday perfection when she hit the powder blue carpet last night for the 2012 UNICEF Snowflake Ball in New York City wearing a rich and regal violet velvet gown. It’s the fabric of the season!

The 42-year-old actress selected to wear a plush Atelier Versace long sleeved floor-length dress with a wide v-neckline and gathered bodice that pulls from solid banded detail at the waist.

Uma donned a pair of classic pearl drop earrings, but I’m glad to see that she didn’t wear a necklace. I don’t think she needed one; I’m practically only focusing on her dress and pretty face anyway. But with that said, Uma styled her long blonde hair in smooth waves before topping off her look with complimenting make-up, a metallic evening clutch and open toe black sandals to show off her red lacquered nail polish.

What did you think of Uma’s velvet UNICEF look?

GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVAL: Celebrities Gather in Central Park to End Extreme Proverty

GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVAL: Celebrities Gather in Central Park to End Extreme ProvertyPhotos: Zimbio
The stars came out to Central Park in New York City this past weekend to help end extreme poverty at the 2012 Global Gitizen Festival. Olivia Wilde was joined by actors Sophia Bush, Michelle Trachtenberg, Katharine McPhee, Selena Gomez and Colin Hanks, and while the main focus of the day was helping others — that didn’t mean we couldn’t help ourselves at checking out the stylish outfits our favorite stars wore.

SOPHIA BUSH: The “Partners” actress showed a little bit of leg in her black AllSaints pencil-cut “Jodhpur” skirt that she paired with a sleeveless vintage graphic t-shirt, a LuLu Frost diamond short necklace and platform black sandals from Pollini. Sophia kept her daytime look quite chic with a high sleek ponytail and a metallic cuff to top it all off.

MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG: Playing with layers, the “Gossip Girl” star rocked two dark tees, a pair of midnight blue jeggings and brown leather fold-over ankle boots that she partnered with a cool dark green BIRD by Juicy Couture leather biker jacket. Michelle finished off with a high ponytail, oversize sunglasses and a gold chain necklace. | continue reading..

Vera Farmiga in Naeem Khan | 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball

Vera Farmiga arrived on the blue carpet on Tuesday night at NYC’s Cipriani 42nd Street for UNICEF’s 8th Annual Snowflake Ball wearing a gown by Naeem Khan.

The “Higher Ground” actress enjoyed food, cocktails, and a performance while donned in a short sleeve embroidered top that was belted at the waist before a floor-length white skirt tiered with pleated ruffles.

It was a lovely look for her, and I’m glad she wore her hair up but loose. It added a low-maintenance vibe to an ensemble that seemed so effortlessly chic.

I would have preferred that she wore the matching short necklace from the runway, but her accessories were well-balanced with the dress. The double layered necklace picked up the topaz color of the embroidery as well as her metallic gold sandals. She finished things off with a maxi skirt-matching white clutch.

Angie Harmon was in attendance last night to help raise money for children’s rights with UNICEF during its annual Snowflake Ball held at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC.

The actress practically glided down the blue carpet in a beaded silver and gold ombré haute couture halter gown featuring a plunging neckline and low open back from the “Feel the Water” collection by Jean Fares Couture.

I love the way this dress forms to her body; it’s like it was custom made just for her. This was by far my favorite look of the night. There was holiday glitz and red carpet glamour all rolled into one! | continue reading..

Zoe Kravitz in Chanel | 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball

Zoe Kravitz enjoyed cocktails and watched a performance by Natasha Bedingfield last night at Cipriani 42nd Street during the 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball.

The 22-year-old actress (she turns 23 on Thursday!) donned a white and black gown from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Chanel for the evening. I’m not much of a fan of this on her as she desperately needed the belt seen on the catwalk. The shape of the sleeves and neckline matched her hair perfectly — they’re all awkward cuts.

She’s been seen in a lot of Alexander Wang lately, so naturally I thought she’d select one of his designs for this event. I genuinely love Zoe’s style and I want to be happy to see her change up in designer wear, but I can’t say I’m thrilled with her selection this time around.
