WHERE & WHEN: “Insidious: Chapter 2″ Universal CityWalk Premiere on September 10, 2013.
WEARING: Romona Keveza dress, Catherine Malandrino jacket, Bionda Castana shoes & H.Stern jewelry.
MY VERDICT: With September quickly approaching, it was nice to see that Julie opted for one of my favorite autumn colors when she attended the ATAS Peer Group cocktail reception last night to gear up for next month’s 65th annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

After wow-ing on the turquoise carpet in a cute two-piece Houghton outfit, the “Pretty Little Liars” took the stage with her Emporio Armani-clad ‘partner in crime’ co-host, Darren Criss, while donned in another adorable ensemble. Lucy wore a blue and white cloudy strapless layered Angelys Balek dress. The heavenly mini features a cutaway opening at the bust that is adorned by a white bow.
MY VERDICT: Anna added a splash of mint to the turquoise carpet when she arrived for the Teen Choice Awards wearing this Emilio Pucci dress. The “Pitch Perfect” star selected the long sleeve peek-a-boo mini from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
I like the color–it’s perfect for the season and really popped against her darkened complexion, but I don’t care for the plunging sheer inset that went far enough to see her navel. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: I can’t deny that I was a disappointed in what Naya wore to the Teen Choice Awards. The beautiful “Glee” star, who released her new single this week, arrived on the turquoise carpet with, her boyfriend, rapper Big Sean while donned in very little.
Naya wore a Alice + Olivia black leather bustier and matching cropped “Arthur” pants from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: Jenna arrived at the Teen Choice Awards to support her fellow “Glee” castmates as the show was honored with an award during the ceremony last night. The 27-year-old actress opted for a flirtatious summertime ensemble when she hit the turquoise carpet wearing a simple black tank partnered with an adorable pleated flared blue monochrome plaid Georgine skirt.
The Fall /Winter 2013 design fit right in with the current season as Jenna coordinated with blue suede Casadei blade pumps | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: Bridgit was one of the stars on the Teen Choice Awards that I felt really got it right. The “Hurricane” singer (and Disney Channel princess) arrived for the annual ceremony at the Gibson Amphitheatre wearing a strapless Kelly Wearstler black mini pocket dress from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection, which features an abstract pattern in bright lilac and pink. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: It’s like every single time I see Jordin on the red carpet, she just looks better and better. However, I believe the Teen Choice Awards was when the other shoe fell. Honestly, I don’t know how this dress came about, but I wish it hadn’t.
Jordin is gorgeous with a great figure, but rather than embrace her fabulous curves in their best light—someone gave her a blue and white striped Bebe dress. It’s isn’t a secret that stripes are a risky pattern for any woman of any size as it can make you appear wider than you are. The fact that Jordin’s dress has a narrow pattern is a plus, but they should’ve been black for more of a flattering effect. Having said that, I do like the silhouette and I think Jordin can pull it off… I’m just not feeling the print for her.
A partially pulled up-do, a champagne clutch, and white ALDO pumps completed her look.
MY VERDICT: Brittany was looking seriously aca-fabulous on the turquoise carpet last night for the Teen Choice Awards! The “Pitch Perfect” star wore a Oliver Tolentino Couture hand-dyed floral lace long sleeve cocktail dress in a beautiful shade of opal green. I really, really like the color and embroidery–and, I especially like the way it was partnered with a coral clutch. | continue reading..
