MY VERDICT: When I think of Sundance, I don’t think of getting dressed up as much as staying cozy and stylish.  Jessica looked very pretty in her Christian Dior black and white silk crepe dress, and I like the added warmth of the black tights, but it just felt too fancy for the festival. Maybe if she had layered on a cool jacket, it would have given the whole ensemble a different vibe.  The dress was one thing, but she made her look extra cocktail-party-ready with grey slingback pointed toe pumps, a black patent clutch, Dior fine jewelry and an elegant bouffant hairstyle.  Great outfit, wrong event.

WHERE & WHEN: “Very Good Girls” 2013 Sundance Film Festival Premiere on January 22, 2013.
WEARING: Miu Miu top, Louis Vuitton skirt, Azzedine Alaïa shoes & Cartier jewelry.

MY VERDICT: It was so great to see Dakota back out on the red (err–brown) carpet!  We haven’t seen a lot of her at major events lately as she’s been going to school and filming movies, but she was able to make it out to Sundance this year to support her film “Very Good Girls” and wore a very good outfit.  I adore her navy ribbed crewneck Miu Miu crop top that she so wisely paired with a Louis Vuitton short black skirt with navy baroque embroidery, which comes from the brand spanking new Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

It’s such a pretty skirt, but the top, sheer black tights and mesh inset Azzedine Alaïa hidden platform booties definitely toughened it up to a cool youthful look with some edge.  | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: I have to hand it to Kate, she picked the perfect opportunity to wear a fur sleeveless mock neck top and caramel leather pencil skirt.  I didn’t think I’d see this look on the red carpet as I figured it was a total editorial number, but the 30-year-old actress really rocked it at Sundance.  With white platform calf-length boots to match her belt and neck detail, Kate actually made me like it more on her than I did on the runway.  A shiny boxy clutch, diamond stud earrings, a perfect polished ponytail and stained rust red lips helped complete her cool streamlined premiere look.

Zoe Saldana is set to appear at the 2012 SAG Awards tonight, but on Friday she hit Park City, Utah to attend the 2012 Sundance Film Festival premiere of her movie “The Words” with co-star — and rumored beau — Bradley Cooper.

The 33-year-old actress arrived at the Eccles Center Theatre wearing a ruched black cocktail dress with a tiered skirt, sweetheart neckline, and cutout short-sleeves from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Alexander McQueen. | continue reading..

Elizabeth Olsen made a quick getaway from the 2012 Sundance Film Festival to Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week!

The 22-year-old “Liberal Arts” actress was just in Park City, Utah this weekend, to promote her film, but made sure to catch a plane to Paris so that she could ride on “Air Chanel” yesterday morning for the Spring/Summer presentation by the fabulous French fashion house.
