Ashley Greene in Aiko, Via Spiga & Chanel!

I normally prefer Ashley Greene’s red carpet looks to her street wear, but she’s changing my mind with one outfit. Ashley stepped out at Shape Magazine’s Pilates for Pink afternoon event in New York City on October 2nd and took her cool casual look out on the town afterwards.

I’m kind of obsessed with Ashley’s look of the day because it’s the type of wardrobe pieces I always stock up on for fall. Leggings are dependable and comfortable — the best at getting into really tall boots. Ashley wore a soft black pair of wool/cashmere knit “Carmen” leggings by Aiko which she slipped into a pair of suede “Farah” boots by Via Spiga. Wedge boots like Ashley’s are the most comfortable heel you can wear for long periods of walking, which is inevitable in NYC.

Ashley wore a ridiculously awesome cashmere “Kwan” heather grey sweatshirt also by Aiko which features leather strip details on each arm. Leather sleeves is quite in trend — Elizabeth and James, Stella McCartney, MASON by Michelle Mason, Free People, and Generation Love have also created sweaters in this style. Leather adds a little edge to any look, and I love a “not-so-basic” sweater.
