MY VERDICT: I really liked the icy blue hue of this dress on the runway—and apparently  Thandie Newton does as well, but I can’t help but adore the bright tangerine on Julianne. I would probably normally feel that the nude sheer insets were too heavy and needed a faint citrus to compliment the rest, but I think she pulls this off.  It may also be one of the rare times I liked the pairing of the nude suede “Tribtoo” platform YSL pumps as well.  | continue reading..

LESLIE MANN rocked the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of “This Is 40″ in a cool color-block gown and a playful Cinderella-esque up ‘do.  Leslie worked with makeup artist Georgie Eisdell to ensure a beautiful and fresh palette, which would further compliment her look rather than overpower it.

Georgie shared her tips and the products she used on Leslie, and we’re totally obsessing over these lip colors!

“For the premiere of This is 40, I wanted Leslie’s look to have a radiance about it,  keeping with her personality.  I also wanted to encapsulate her natural beauty and give it an edge,” Georgie explained her beauty inspiration for Leslie!

Katy Perry looked beautiful in bright green when she helped celebrate Carole King and her music, to benefit Paul Newman’s The Painted Turtle Camp at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday night.

The 28-year-old singer walked the carpet in this satin kelly green strapless floor-length Yves Saint Laurent dress, which featured a thigh high slit at the side and rows of pretty crystal beaded embellishments at the bodice.  I loved the color against her warm complexion and dark, thick curls.  Her hair seems to be gravitating a bit more towards brown than the jet black we’ve been seeing a lot of lately.  But, maybe that’s just the lighting. | continue reading..

The 27-year-old actor stepped out on the dark grey carpet, with his costar Ashley Greene, while donned in a chic black three-piece suit from Yve Saint Laurent with a white striped dress shirt and a dark charcoal tie. Brittany Snow wore a vivid blood orange when she hit the black carpet on Tuesday night for the GQ: Men of the Year party, celebrating some of the top men in film, music, sports and more.

The “Pitch Perfect” star wore a v-neck silk floor-length vintage YSL dress. Although I would have liked to have seen Brittany layer  on some complimenting colorful bangles or earrings, She kept her look mostly bare with all focus on her dress.

Britt did wear thin gold rings by Arunashi before completeing her look with heels by Jerome C. Rousseau and a bright red pout.

Over the years, a “Twillight” premiere has found Christian Serratos in an array of different styles, but the 22-year-old actress saved the fifth and final moment to celebrate the successful franchise in ultra-glamorous style!

It was almost another great look for Britney Spears last night when she appeared during the taping of the “We Will Always Love You: A GRAMMY Salute to Whitney Houston”, held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Hollywood.

Brit hit the stage in a cool Lever Couture long-sleeve grey dress, with pleated bell sleeves, from the Fall 2012 collection. I like the design, but Britney needs a dress that comes to her knees. The cut of this particular dress did nothing to flatter her legs.

As for her hair, it’s still looking as fab as it was a few days ago. She accessorized with oversize rose gold hoop earrings by Neil Lane and a pair of grey suede platform oxford booties by Yves Saint Laurent.

The tribute special will air on November 16th at 10pm EST on CBS.

I just loved Rumer Willis’ flirty dress at the amfAR Inspiration Gala last night!

The 24-year-old actress (and daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis) arrived on the black rug rocking the “Bergen” a-line skirt dress from Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet, a sold-out look from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection, which featured a full black skirt and a long-sleeved nude top fully embellished with a wild sequin leopard pattern.

Britney Spears stepped out on the black carpet last night and truly sparkled as she helped honor Halston CEO Ben Malka with the Spirit Of Life Award at the 2012 City Of Hope gala in Los Angeles.

The “X Factor” judge, who was joined by her fiancé Jason Trawick, wore a gleaming Halston dove grey sequin embroidered halterneck gown with a strappy open back. Honestly, this is the best look I’ve seen from Brit-Brit in a long while.
