MY VERDICT: Ginnifer brightened up the dull grey carpet at the Costume Designers Guild Awards when she stepped out in a lipstick red short sleeve gown by Misha Nonoo.  The “Once Upon a Time” star, who was joined by her co-star and boyfriend Josh Dallas (in a Z Zegna tuxedo), looked beautiful and quite effortless in the full-length Spring 2013 design with striped sheer panels at the bottom.  The see-through detail gave you a peek at her nude Christian Louboutin pumps.  I think a crystal-encrusted shoe would have been a fun choice as Ginny would have added a touch of shimmer with every step.  She completed her look with a delicate gold bangle, her pixie cut brushed to the side and minimal makeup.

WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.

KEVIN McHALE: I had to kick this whole thing off with Kevin because I just don’t think I could have contained my love for his hunter green jacket much longer!  The 24-year-old actor worked the heck out of that red carpet in his monochrome black shirt, tie and trousers while sporting a custom Oscar Olima dark green satin jacket over his shoulders with contrast details.  This was totally unique and eye catching—I loved it.  Kevin finished his look with shiny black dress shoes from Prada.

CORY MONTEITH: This is probably one of the best suit looks I’ve ever seen on Cory.  I loved his Calvin Klein Collection grey tuxedo with black contrast arched lapels and stripes down the sides of his pants.  It was well tailored and suited him very nicely.  Cory finished with black Christian Louboutin dress shoes, Ox and Bull Trading Co. cufflinks and tie bar, and a Versace watch. | continue reading..

WHERE & WHEN: 39th Annual People’s Choice Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on January 9, 2013.
WEARING: Ermenegildo Zegna suit, Chris Aire cufflinks

MY VERDICT: Liam may just be one of top best dressed stars of the night at the PCAs. As soon as that camera panned to him in the audience before “The Hunger Games” won best movie, I knew he would be.  Seriously.  Can we talk about the rich and delicious maroon shade of the Zegna suit he wore?  To top it all off, Liam sharply paired it with a black shirt and tie and a red polka dot printed black satin pocket square. Too good—I love it! This actually topped his printed jacket suit for me. When it comes down to it, this was simply really good styling that Liam pulled off effortlessly. When you know what works, run with it.

What are the boys of “Twilight” doing to me? First Robert Pattinson worked that green machine earlier this week, and now Taylor Lautner gave me a little violet to bask in today! They’re being so, so kind with the press tour for this final installment.

The 20-year-old actor hit the red carpet at the Odeon Leicester Square this evening for the London premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ where he wore his second Z Zegna suit this week, but instead of keeping it classic again, Taylor wore a majestic violet two-button, notched lapel design. | continue reading..

Taylor Lautner joined all of his Twi-costars of the last five years at their last Los Angeles premiere, this time to celebrate “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″—which hits theaters nationwide on Friday at midnight, just sayin’.

After sporting a bright blue suit last year for the “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ premiere, Taylor opted for a smoky grey two-button, notch lapel jacket and trousers by Z Zegna this time around. I think it goes without saying that Diego Boneta was the best dressed person on the black carpet last night for the premiere of his new movie “Rock of Ages” at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

The 21-year-old looked dapper in a black Z Zegna three-piece, peak lapel suit, white dress shirt and a charcoal skinny tie.

Seriously, that tie made the look for me. He could have gone the classic black route, but there was something about the marbled metallic effect of that one element that just made the whole suit pop. | continue reading..

We’ve gotten through the first week of the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival, but in my eyes, it’s the second round that is most exciting! This week we’ll find Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Kirsten Dunst and Kristen Stewart all on the red carpet for their movie premieres, and I’m beyond eager to see what they’ll wear!
I’ve been asked by readers since March to reveal some of my red carpet dress selections that I’d like to see the stars in at Cannes, so I figured now was as good as time as any. I threw around some ideas with my “jury” of fashion pals to help create this list of favorites for the above mentioned stars.

I bet the cheers from “Team Peeta” were eardrum-shattering last night as fans lined the black carpet for the Hollywood premiere of “The Hunger Games”.

Josh Hutcherson, who portrays the beloved character of Peeta Mellark in the film, arrived at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in a full dapper look by Z Zegna.

The 19-year-old actor posed with co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence while wearing a grey three-piece, two-button, peak lapel suit. Josh finished off the look with a white pinstripe dress shirt and black striped tie. | continue reading..

Josh Hutcherson was another stylish cast member from “The Hunger Games” that made his way down the red carpet for the 2012 People’s Choice Awards.

Josh wore a charcoal two-button notch laep suit with a striped skinny tie and white dress shirt by Z Zegna.

During the show Josh didn’t present an award with co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence, instead he joined Vanessa Hudgens on stage – the two star together in the upcoming “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”.

He looked very nice, I just wish his hair was less flat.

Last night, after finishing a press junket for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″, Robert Pattinson suited up for an appearance at the Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards held at The Conga Room at L.A. Live.

Rob took the stage to present a Hamilton Behind the Camera Award to “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” director Chris Weitz wearing a very dark grey two-button suit by Z Zegna that he paired with a partially unbuttoned black dress shirt.

I know I’ve expressed deep interest in seeing Rob wear color, but I do like this suit on him. I’m glad he kept it somewhat casual by going sans tie.

The suit looked good, his hair looked good — he looked good. Although, a bit tired.

Gee…I wonder why?

After international press, LA press — and soon-to-be New York press — Rob will be heading back overseas to continue promoting the movie.

With all these promo stops, I hope there’s a green suit involved.
