MY VERDICT: Nazneen stepped out on the silver carpet in a bright orange dress for the Hollywood premiere of her new movie “Star Trek Into Darkness”. The 30-year-old actress glowed in the deep v-neck floor-length silk dress from the Spring 2013 collection of Zac Posen’s diffusion line, originally called Z Spoke. I love the color of the dress as well as the semi-sheer panels at the bottom, but more than that, I’m happy Nazneen opted for gold Manolo Blahnik sandals instead of sticking with a common black or nude pump. Subtle makeup, complimenting gold jewelry and a long side braid completed her look.

Busy Philipps proudly displayed her growing belly in a custom made Gabriela Cadena navy blue long sleeve silk dress.  The “Cougar Town” actress, who recently announced her second pregnancy added some boldness to her look with a colorful one-of-a-kind Irene Neuwirth statement necklace and a matching embellished clutch by Judith Leiber.  A scarlet red lip, gathered mane and Brian Atwood “Stearling” shoes were the finishing touches.

Alexis Bledel like Jessica Pare, the 31-year-old actress also opted to wear a brilliant shade of emerald green at the SAGs this year. I love the color and pleated detailing of her structured Rena Lange dress, and the way her beautiful vintage House of Lavende colorful crystal necklace sat amongst the deep v-neckline. MY VERDICT: The last thing any lady wants to hear after she’s gotten ready all day for a major event is that she was dressed like another attendee. Amanda’s look was compared to Jennifer Lawrence all night long, but I for one see a blue strapless dress and side swept hair in common.  They’re visually so different that you could love one and dislike the other.  While I personally didn’t dislike the other, I still loved this Zac Posen on Amanda so much more.

Remember when I wasn’t crazy about the nude dress the “Les Misèrables” starlet wore earlier this month?  Well, she didn’t let that happen twice!  Amanda looked beautiful in her dramatic navy Pre-Fall 2013 mermaid gown, which featured a long tiered hem.  Her long golden blonde waves were styled perfectly for a youthful touch to an elegant ensemble, and I liked that her smoky eyes were paired with a nude lip.  The only thing I’m not crazy about?  Amanda’s long Lorraine Schwartz pendant necklace.  It’s a great accessory, but not with this gown. MY VERDICT: I suspected we’d see this gorgeous burgundy crepe and satin long sleeve gown from the Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2013 collection on the red carpet this awards season, and I can’t say that I’m surprised Naomi was the one to debut it.  I think the silhouette is absolutely stunning and looked incredible and very regal on Naomi.  I had hoped if she was going to wear this that she would save it for Oscar night, but if you can’t wait—you can’t wait, and I understand that.

My favorite part of this dress is obviously the cutout back and glamorous train, and I like how Naomi wore her hair up to accentuate that all while also putting her matching diamond and ruby Lorrraine Schwartz earrings on display.  She completed her look with a burgundy-colored minaudière with metal frame from the Ferragamo Red Carpet collection.

MY VERDICT: Kelly was one of the first to arrive on the Golden Globe red carpet as she had hosting duties for E! Fashion Police.  The 28-year-old turned to Zac Posen once again for her award ceremony look by selecting the pale mint strapless corset gown from his Resort 2013 collection, which featured a structured fishtail skirt. Although this fails to top the lilac number she donned for the Primetime Emmys last year, I happen to really like this dress on Kelly.  She often wears white to balance out with her bright purple hair, and I’ve grown tired of that, so it was good to see her change it up—even if the step was small.

She finished off with emerald jewelry, a light blue clutch, and a side-gathered glamour curls.

MY VERDICT: I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Lena go that full extra mile for a major glamorous moment on the red carpet, but the Golden Globes was obviously ‘her’ night because she looked great in this custom off-the-shoulder plum gown by Zac Posen.  I normally think she looks best in short sleeves, but this silhouette looked very nice.  I’m glad Lena didn’t go overboard with jewelry or makeup, because that’s not her style and I wouldn’t want her to fake it.  My only (slight) qualm is that I don’t feel like she needed her eyes lined that thick.

Naomi Watts brought a touch of spring to December at the premiere of “The Impossible” last night wearing a floral gown!

The 44-year-old actress selected this beautiful Zac Posen ivory silk gown—from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection, with fluttering short sleeves, a cutout back and a mermaid train with an all-over print of purple flowers. She was obviously going for an old Hollywood look as she styled her blonde locks in asymmetrically gathered pin-curls to show off her glamorous J/Hadley green and pink sapphire oval drop earrings. | continue reading..

Katie Cassidy was amongst the star-studded guest list at the GQ Men of the Year party on Tuesday night, which was held in Los Angeles at the Chateau Marmont—a Hollywood hot-spot.

The 25-year-old “Arrow” actress hit the black carpet wearing a rusted orange satin form-fitting cocktail dress by Zac Posen with a knee-length trumpet hem and a ruffled strapless pleated corset bodice. I like the dress just fine, but for a design that’s supposed to hug the figure for a solid hourglass silhouette—it just looks like it’s hanging off of Katie. Maybe it’s the angle, but she looks a bit uncomfortable.

Katie kept focus on the color of her dress with nude patent pumps before finishing off with a deep bronze ombré python box clutch, very pretty neutral make-up and a partially gathered mane—which showed off her beautiful green leaf pattern ornate earrings. All of Katie’s jewelry came from Martin Katz and Samira 13.

Over the years, a “Twillight” premiere has found Christian Serratos in an array of different styles, but the 22-year-old actress saved the fifth and final moment to celebrate the successful franchise in ultra-glamorous style!

Christian, who stars as Angela Weber—the human friend to Kristen Stewart’s Bella—arrived on the black carpet last night for the Los Angeles premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ wearing a beautiful poppy red stretch crepe gown by Zac Posen with a wide v-neck, folded cap-sleeves and a slim silhouette that traveled into a dramatic mermaid train. | continue reading..
