Zoe Kravitz hit the black carpet last night for the New York premiere of “The Dark Knight Rises” wearing head-to-toe black, which including a dress on the verge of a “wardrobe-malfunction.”

Zoe Kravitz joined her mother Lisa Bonet (geez, they look alike!) last night for the opening of The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL’s classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld exhibit at the Swiss Institute in New York City.

The 23-year-old actress rocked a chic monochrome look, which included a strapless dress from the Spring 2012 Chanel collection. The design featured a black leather bodice and a white knit, knee-length skirt.

Kristen Stewart was recently seen wearing the same dress in all black.

The exhibit wasn’t the only ‘debut’ last night, Zoe showed off her cute new asymmetric cropped ‘do — and I’m loving it!

She finished of her look with a bright yellow Chanel bag and a pair of open toe black satin pumps.

Emilia Clarke from the HBO medieval-fantasy television show “Game of Thrones” hit the red carpet on Sunday night for the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards wearing a dress that you may be quite familiar with seeing as how Zoe Kravitz wore this last year.

Zoe Kravitz enjoyed cocktails and watched a performance by Natasha Bedingfield last night at Cipriani 42nd Street during the 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball.

The 22-year-old actress (she turns 23 on Thursday!) donned a white and black gown from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Chanel for the evening. I’m not much of a fan of this on her as she desperately needed the belt seen on the catwalk. The shape of the sleeves and neckline matched her hair perfectly — they’re all awkward cuts.

She’s been seen in a lot of Alexander Wang lately, so naturally I thought she’d select one of his designs for this event. I genuinely love Zoe’s style and I want to be happy to see her change up in designer wear, but I can’t say I’m thrilled with her selection this time around.

Last night was an evening of style at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards at Skylight SOHO in New York City. For the eighth year, the stars and designers came out to celebrate fashion and give out awards to deserving U.S.-based designers while giving them a shot at a long career in the industry.

Among the attendees were Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde, Rooney Mara, and Zoe Kravitz as they arrived with the designers of their dresses for the evening, which included Prabal Gurung and Alexander Wang.

Rooney Mara, still sporting her really awkward haircut for her role in “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, wore a peach silk dress by Calvin Klein. The paleness of the Spring/Summer 2012 dress blends with her skin, and then her dark lipstick is a harsh contrast. Love Rooney, but all of this combined with the haircut is just making the look so hard to take seriously. To some, it may be “artsy” — but I just can’t get into it. Tuesday night was the long-awaited major Versace for H&M fashion show in New York City, and boy was it a fête! Stars like Chloe Moretz, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Hudson, Uma Thurman, Emma Roberts, Selma Blair, and Zoe Kravitz were all in attendance at H&M on the Hudson where the event was being held to celebrate the launch of the exclusive Versace collection at H&M.

After the models walked the wood-panneled runway in Pier 57 wearing looks from the line, guests were treated to performances by Nicki Minaj and Prince! Nicki arrived to the event wearing a custom embellished dress from the collection. | continue reading..
