Yesterday thousands of fans filled the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales to celebrate the musical history of Michael Jackson with the “Michael Forever Tribute Concert”.
Among the many performers — which included Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, JLS, Pixie Lott, and of course some of Michael’s talented siblings — was Christina Aguilera. The 30-year-old singer sang two songs, one being the rock-influenced classic “Dirty Diana” and then she slowed it down with “Smile”, one of his favorite songs growing up.
Christina selected an embellished wool-jersey navy blue dress by Alexander McQueen which featured a scooped v-neck and gold chain detail epaulets and at the cuffs. She cinched the waist with a black nappa leather bridle belt with more gold chain detail and embossed buckle.
Her new curvy figure looked a bit snug in the form fitting dress, but I like that she honored Michael’s style as well as his music. He was known for wearing military-inspired clothing and costumes, so I felt this was pretty much a perfect choice for her.
Her big hair on the other hand probably wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t look like you could pull it right off of her head. It looks like a messy wig — but that’s probably due to a lot of hair flinging during “Dirty Diana”.
Christina finished off her look with nude suede pumps.
