After a minor style slip at the LACMA Art + Film Gala earlier this month, Evan Rachel Wood was back in full form for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 3rd Annual Governors Awards last night in Hollywood.

Evan looked beautiful on the red carpet at the Hollywood & Highland Grand Ballroom in a black drap silk dress with a navy blue cape from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Alessandra Rich. My favorite part of this is obviously the cape, but I love that the waist defining belt provided a good visual with a gold lock buckle. It would have been so boring had it just been a black belt.

It’s a much more mature look for Evan, but she’s working it.

Dress aside, I really liked her swept wave coif — I would have preferred this to her 1920’s pin-curls at LACMA’s gala.

Evan wore complimentary jewelry – gold triangle earrings, a dark blue flower cocktail ring and a gold bracelet. She carried a black and gold embellished clutch, and finished off with gold trimmed black “Koko” platform sandals by Jimmy Choo.
