Bérénice Béjo, the Master of Ceremony of the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival, was a vision in red tonight as she hosted the opening ceremony at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

The Academy Award nominee looked beautiful in a bespoke Louis Vuitton gown made of bright red silk mousseline with a pleated front and a multi-layered, red degrade, organza and silk mousseline train.

Thankfully some slightly side views of Bérénice came out to show off the large matching bow at the back of the design.

I love everything about this dress on her; the scarlet color, the fit and the total “glam factor” of it all. No detail was left unattended! Bérénice wore sparkling diamond and ruby drop earrings with a matching cuff bracelet and ring.

She finished off her look with side swept cascading slightly curled tresses and cherry red lacquered nails.

What did you think of Bérénice’s debut look at Cannes 2012?
