Connie Britton arrived at the Los Angeles Film Festival premiere of her movie “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World” last night wearing a pretty pale blue gown.

The 45-year-old actress looked youthful and fresh in a silk tulle, open neck gown from the Spring 2012 collection by J. Mendel, with gathered ruching in artfully sculpted panels at her waist and hips.

I’m not too familiar with Connie’s red carpet track record, but I can’t help but like this dress on her! The steel shade of the color prevented her from looking washed out like a lighter shade world and it looks so lively against her red hair.

Connie’s makeup artist added an extra burst of the same shade with a smoky effect at her eyes, while her hairstylist created gorgeous cascading full waves.

This look was complete a hot pink manicure, gold jewelry — which included a cool thin cuff from H. Stern and Lana hoop earrings, a turquoise stone embellished gold minaudière and nude open toe Jimmy Choo pumps.

What did you think of Connie’s premiere look?
