Dakota Fanning attended the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards gala last night in New York City as the guest of the Proenza Schouler designing duo Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough.
The 18-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet at Alice Tully Hall wearing a design from the Fall 2012 collection; an Asian-inspired long-sleeve asymmetric dress. The muted brown, grey, rusty orange and gold tones in this layered design are gorgeous and just as captivating on Dakota as they were on the runway.
Dakota is also wearing leather woven ankle boots that were paired with the dress during the catwalk presentation.
I’m always commenting on how Dakota should do something new with her hair.
She finally does and, sadly, it’s not flattering at all.
The look was completed with a silver metallic PS11 clutch.
