Really early this morning, I was awoken by the sounds of treacherous thunder. If I had to be stuck outside in that weather, the Empire State Building would have been the last place I’d choose to hang out at. But, that’s exactly where Emma Stone and her costars from “The Amazing Spider-Man” were!

When the rain and lightning cleared up, Emma and the gang took photos on top of the legendary building in New York City as they lit up the ESB and promoted their new movie — which is set to hit theaters on July 3rd.

Though it’s summer, it was a bit breezy today so Emma kept warm in a bright violet Pre-Fall 2012 long sleeve dress from Carven, which featured a button-down and drape wrapped bodice as well as a contrasting white peter pan collar.

I’ll never understand why the collar is called that since Peter’s collar was open and pointed.

Once again, Emma is dressing very mature. I’m keeping my fingers crossed to get at least one youthful and energetic look from her — like the one she sported at the MET Gala this year — before this press tour is through.

Just like the model from Carven’s lookbook, Emma opted for pumps. She wore her new favorite Christian Louboutin pointed toe style, the “Pigalle” in basic nude.

She finished off her look with a smooth and fluffy mane, which was swept to the side and pinned behind her ears to show off her ruby “Portafortuna” stud earrings by dalla donna. Emma also wore matching “Portafortuna” rings.

What did you think of Emma’s look today?

I love the color of this dress. I agree that it would be nice if she wore something youthful, but the good thing is that when you look at her face and her smile the only thing you see is energy and youthfully.
