After donning florals for a morning press conference in Moscow, Russia, it was off to the red carpet for Emma Stone and the rest of “The Amazing Spider-Man” gang for the premiere.

This time around, Emma stayed away from bold prints in favor of a ice cold, pale blue long sleeve dress by Emilio Pucci.

As one of a few dresses in this color from the Fall 2012 collection, this was probably my least favorite by comparison. I also think the light color was too light against Emma’s fair skin, and the whole design was kind of aging for the 23-year-old.

A highlight of the look for me, would be the gorgeous gold laurel leaf bandeaux from Jennifer Behr that Emma had woven into her slightly unkempt up ‘do.

Maybe I just have high hopes for her wardrobe on this promo tour, but I can’t help but feel like the looks Emma wears at the photocall suit her better than her premiere dresses. I’m not saying I want her to dress like she’s fifteen, because she’s not, but I’ve been hoping for more moments like her look at this year’s MET Gala.

She could have really made this Pucci number work had she not opted for bland, nude “Pigalle” pumps from Christian Louboutin that were also too big for her and too mature for the look.

Emma finished off with a Lanvin minaudière and 14k rose gold and diamond Dana Rebecca “Nikki Joy Studs” earrings.

What did you think of Emma’s ice blue premiere look?

I think this dress is lovely! Maybe a little too mature for her yeah, but still, it worked for her. Just out of curiosity, what color of shoes do you think would fit better with this dress?

The dress is very pretty, but yes a little too mature. I think a pewter sandal or contrast bright color to liven the pale color would have been fun. Nude shoes rarely look bad with dresses, they can just be boring. 🙂
