On Sunday night, MaxMara threw a cocktail party honoring the 2012 Women in Film: Face Of The Future fête at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California.

Some of the hottest ladies from the silver screen to your television screen came out to celebrate the evening in style, wearing looks from the MaxMara and Sportmax collections.

Maggie Grace has a new television show called “The Following” debuting this fall, where she stars opposite Kevin Bacon, as well as a large role as a vengeful vampire in the final installment of the “Twilight” franchise, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2”. The 28-year-old arrived in a blush organza halterneck dress that she complimented with champagne satin accessories, including her evening clutch and open toe pumps. I like the way she styled her long honey-highlighted hair in a wavy, low ponytail.

Nina Dobrev may look angelic due to those fluttering sleeves on her Resort 2012 white blouse cocktail dress, but she’s known for playing dual roles — one of which, is a vampire — on the hit CW series “The Vampire Diaries”. I could do without those sleeves, but I’m digging the pop of color with the Judith Leiber turquoise “Gemini” minaudière and the touch of glitter thanks to those Jimmy Choo “Linda” silver sandals. Nina also opted for a wavy ponytail.

Chloe Moretz was one of my favorites of the night in her bright Spring 2012 turquoise long sleeve panel dress. The 15-year-old “Hick” actress let her long blonde hair out in natural waves before finishing off with a dark manicure, metallic bangle and nude peep toe pumps. I wish she had worn silver shoes, as I’m over the nude peep toe, but Chloe’s weren’t boring — they had a bright yellow platform!

Amanda Stenberg, one of the most lovable actors from “The Hunger Games”, was cute as a button in her white Sportmax sleeveless dress with draping elements. She may be only 13-years-old, but she has a great eye for what styles work for her. These pointed toe pumps may have been a bit too mature for her, but I liked the fresh and youthful feel she brought to her look with the bright graphic printed clutch.

There was something very retro about Mary Elizabeth Winstead‘s silk yellow maxi dress. Because of the 1970s feel, this really could have aged her, but she added a modern touch with tumbling tendrils, a bright pink clutch and printed pumps.

The shoes are yellow snakeskin “Alida” open toe pumps by Brian Atwood with a needle heel and ankle strap.

Olivia Munn rocked a fun wine-colored strapless mini dress, and added some spice to the look with coordinating gold jewelry, including a ring with a colorful stone that matched the tone of her frock. She completed her look with a metallic gold clutch and super sexy “Lady Max” sandals by Christian Louboutin sandals.

There’s something about 14-year-old Ariel Winter wearing a lace trim, black leather corset mini dress with intense smoky makeup that just doesn’t sit right with me. The “Modern Family” actress should have taken a cue from Chloe and Amandla because there’s no rush to go this sexy. With that said, I loved her black and metallic gold sandals! The right shoes, the wrong dress.

Jennifer Morrison from ABC’s “Once Upon A Time” was sporting some on-trend neon with her tangerine silk strapless dress! I love the color, but I wish she hadn’t left the neckline so bar. I would have liked to have seen her hair out for this look with some nice brightly colored aqua and gold jewelry. She could have gotten away with some bold shoes because of the vibrant, yet solid color. Did she? No. Nude pumps it is.
