It was a busy few days for the royal family as they celebrated the 60-year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s ascension to the throne last weekend in London. This is the second time in the history of the UK where they’ve been able to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of a monarch.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge kicked off her stylish trail at the garden party last Friday where she looked lovely in a pale pink Emilia Wickstead coat dress from her Fall 2012 collection.
The dress featured long sleeves, a square-cut neckline and a pleated skirt.
Kate accessorized with pieces from LK Bennett, including the “Natalie” gold clutch and a pair of her favorite nude leather “Sledge2” pumps. She’s also wearing a matching pink hat designed by Jane Corbett. I adore the bow element along with the delicate lace detail.
She finished off small pearl earrings and a soft pink lip color.
On Sunday, June 3rd, the Duchess boarded the royal barge ‘Spirit of Chartwell’ during the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, with her husband Prince William, Duke of Cambridge to participate in the River Pageant.
Kate looked incredible in a red pleated Alexander McQueen dress. A sleeveless version of this design was featured in the Pre-Fall 2011 collection, but I much prefer the long sleeve style.
She flawlessly complimented the dress with a gorgeous fascinator and a McQueen bow clutch that featured an edgy skull closure. Once again, her preferred shoe choice were those nude LK Bennett pumps.
For The Diamond Jubilee Concert on Monday night, the Duchess enjoyed performances by Jessie J, Will.i.Am, Kylie Minogue and more with the royal family and kept her wardrobe very casual.
Kate wore a pretty petal printed blue “Bella” bodycon dress by Whistles. She left her long brunette tresses out in big curls as they fell over the black blazer she layered on to keep warm.
Needless to say, the Whistles dress has already sold out on ASOS.
Kate was photographed attending the jubilee thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on Tuesday wearing, yet another, gorgeous Alexander McQueen creation.
The duchess looked elegantly chic in a blush lace, long-sleeve midi-length dress with a satin built in belt at the waist.
I would have liked to see her in a different pair of shoes, but for once, I really like that she wore the LK Bennett pumps with this. They suited the dress and her accessories, which included a satin Prada minaudière and a Jane Taylor cocktail hat with a beaded mesh element.
“Concert For The Queen: A Diamond Jubilee Celebration” will air on the ABC network tonight at 9PM est!
