Get The Look: Léa Seydoux’s Makeup – “Under the Silver Lake” Cannes 2018 Premiere

As a member of the Cannes Film Festival jury this year, Léa Seydoux has been busy making the red carpet rounds and, for one of the screenings, the French actress stepped out in a sparkling Louis Vuitton gown sporting slicked back hair and a winged eye.

Makeup artist Sabrina Bedrani was inspired by her dress to give her a glossy glow.

“Léa’s off the shoulder dress called for a chic, modern look. With her hair slicked back, I decided to bring out her eyes with a strong cat eye to give an edge to her overall look.”

COMPLEXION: “I first prepped her skin with Dior Capture Youth Glow Booster Age-Delay Illuminating Serum, followed by Dior Capture Youth Age-Delay Advanced Creme. I then evened out her skin with Diorskin Forever Undercover #010 Ivory and Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer #011 Creme. I enhanced her cheekbones using Diorskin Mineral Nude Bronze #002 Soft Sunlight and added Diorblush #943 My Rose to the apples of her cheeks.”

EYES: “I filled in her brows with Diorshow Brow Styler #001 Universal Brown. I applied Diorshow Fusion Mono #621 Mirror all over her lids and then used Diorshow On Stage Liner #096 Vinyl Black to draw a strong liner extended out to achieve a modern cat eye. I finished the eyes by adding a couple coats of Diorshow Pump’N’Volume #090 Black Pump.”

LIPS: “I applied Dior Addict Lacquer Plump #556 Dancefloor.”
