WHO: Hilary Duff WHERE & WHEN: 2014 MusiCares Person Of The Year Honoring Carole King on January 24, 2014. WEARING: MaxMara jumpsuit, Jimmy Choo shoes & a Oroton clutch. MY VERDICT: Hilary rocked the red carpet last night when she attended the MusiCares Person Of The Year event, which honored Carole King. The 26-year-old actress wore a cool single shoulder black Max Mara jumpsuit with wide legged pants that fell over baby pink Jimmy Choo "Anouk" pointe pumps. Having fashion déjà vu? You may remember seeing Stana Katic in the red version of this jumpsuit last summer. I'm kind of obsessed with how the rest of Hilary's accessories were tied in.
WHO: Malin Akerman WHERE & WHEN: 2013 TCA Summer Tour: Disney/ABC Party on August 4, 2013. WEARING: Max Mara jumpsuit, Christian Louboutin shoes MY VERDICT: Malin brightened up the beige carpet at the Summer TCA event for Disney/ABC last night in her lipstick red jumpsuit. The "Trophy Wife" actress donned a Max Mara one shoulder jumpsuit from the Fall 2013 collection, which reminds me of the darker onesie that Stana Katic selected back in June for the Women In Film’s 2013 Crystal + Lucy Awards.
Okay, Christa B. Allen totally won in the "Best Dressed" category for me at the NYLON + Sony September Issue celebration this past Saturday night in Beverly Hills. The "Revenge" actress was giving me a case of #OutfitEnvy when she arrived at Mr. C Beverly Hills for the party wearing an adorable ensemble broadcasting edgy girly-glam. Christa paired a colorful metallic pixelated sleeveless blouse by MaxMara with cute black leather combo Rebecca Minkoff short-shorts.
Brittany Snow helped kick off Emmy Week on Sunday night when she hit the black carpet for the Audi And Derek Lam Kick Off Emmy Week 2012 event, held at Cecconi's Restaurant in Hollywood. The "Pitch Perfect" actress wore a light-colored ensemble, which included a lace edge layered cocktail dress by MaxMara, which she paired with gold metallic Giuseppe Zanotti pumps.
"Dallas" actress Jordana Brewster hit the red carpet on Friday afternoon when she attended the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2012 Installation Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Jordana embraced the season and looked beautiful in a lovely strapless floral dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by MaxMara. The white based frock featured a bright assortment of mini floral and leaf prints in shades of yellow, orange, navy and purple.
Two separate Vogue debuts in two months? Apparently, when you're Emma Stone that happens! The 23-year-old made her debut for the American edition last month and now covers the August 2012 issue of British Vogue lens by Patrick Demarchelier -- and it might just be my favorite cover of hers to date! Playfully conveying an innocent look of nibbling on her fingernail while side-gazing; this zoomed in semi-profile shot of "The Amazing Spider-Man" actress shows her clad in a toasty warm houndstooth printed jumper and black driving cap from the MaxMara Fall 2012 collection. Makeup artist Hannah Murray created a soft palette for Emma while cat-lining her eyes into a 1960s kitten look. Her hat covers it up here, but hairstylist Orlando Pita took inspiration from the shoot and her make-up by giving Emma an updated retro bouffant where he left the ends pretty sleek rather than flipped. Now, let's check out the wardrobe!
