Cover Girl: Jennifer Lawrence Ruffles Some Feathers for W Magazine!
JENNIFER LAWRENCE, is that you?
Apparently that's what W Magazine is telling us with the October issue featuring "The Hunger Games" star covered in feathers. She looks more like the Black Swan than Katniss Everdeen, am I right?
Although the 22-year-old actress was nominated for an Oscar last year and she brought the bow-shooting Katniss Everdeen to life on the big-screen this year in the 'Games', that's not why she's on the cover of the fashion magazine this month. JLaw is returning to the theater this month with her horror-flick "House at the End of the Street" -- appropriately nicknamed "HATES".
Scary.
For the cover, lens by Tim Walker, she wears a Calvin Klein black feather and organza dress with Urstadt Swan gloves, and as the cover reads, it's Jenn 'like you've never seen her before.'
Chyeah! Because I've never seen her in this many feathers!
Cover Girl: Selena Gomez Frolicks On the Beach for ELLE’s July Issue
For the first time ever, SELENA GOMEZ covers the July issue of ELLE Magazine -- lens by Carter Smith.
The 19-year-old actress-turned-popstar has been the subject of many tabloid chatter, mostly centering around her highly publicized relationship with Justin Bieber, but also due to her burgeoning pop music career, a debut signature fragrance and two upcoming movies -- the animated "Hotel Transylvania" and next year's "Spring Breakers", where Selena more than sheds her Disney girl image.
Not only did she make her ELLE debut, but she did it twice over with a special double issue. For the bright yellow glossy cover, with her name written boldy across her body, Joe Zee styled Selena in a printed tunic from the Fall 2012 collection by Balmain as her long beachy waves, courtesy of hairstylist Harry Josh, cascaded over her shoulders.
The second cover finds Selena in a gorgeous gold embroidered corset dress by Dolce & Gabbana.
Cover Girl: Kristen Stewart for ELLE’s June Issue — She’s the Man!
KRISTEN STEWART rocks a dazzling Ralph Lauren Collection dress on ELLE Magazine 's June 2012 cover -- the U.S. Edition -- which was photographed by Tim Munro.
While her name is featured in bold red text on the front cover, you can't miss the italic "Inside the Secret Life of" printed above it. This wouldn't be the first time we've seen a magazine offering a peek into the life "behind the camera" with the actress -- but ELLE delivers.
Rest assured Holly Millea talked to the 22-year-old actress about her love of making movies -- but you can best believe she also got into the nitty gritty of everything to how Kristen feels growing up in the public eye, her childhood memories, and yes, her boyfriend and "Twilight" costar Robert Pattinson.
As for the editorial spread -- I was floored. Creative Director Joe Zee went above and beyond to create a beautiful, intense, and cool photo shoot by styling Kristen as both a man and a woman in a dim lit French hotel room.
I've always hoped that someone in fashion editorial would recognize that Kristen could effortlessly pull from her 'tomboy' and 'feminine' sides to rock both an androgynous and glamorous look -- so much so, that I've had numerous conversations with friends about her doing a shoot similar to this very one.
Needless to say, I feel this was best. shoot. yet.
Cover Girl: Scarlett Johansson Goes Old Hollywood for VOGUE!
It's official, American VOGUE has dubbed May 2012 as the month of SCARLETT JOHANSSON!
As Marvel's "The Avengers", based off the comic book series, hits theaters next month -- and Scarlett reprises her role as the fierce Black Widow, we reap the benefits by getting to see her wear some stunning designs in this retro Hollywood editorial photographed by Mario Testino.
Scarlett posed alongside her costar Mark Ruffalo for the photo shoot; "Scarlett played it really well, with a wink in her eye." Ruffalo told VOGUE about her Avengers character.
For the cover, Scarlett was transformed into a 1930's Hollywood siren as Bill Doig styled the 27-year-old in a ruched mauve gown and pearl drop earrings. With a classic pin curl 'do, courtesy of Oribe for Oribe Hair Care, she was given a refreshed look accompanied by rich glossy lips with help from make-up artist James Kaliardos.

I'm hearing Ashley Greene has a few mag covers on the rise as well as co-stars Nikki Reed and Taylor Lautner; but after gracing the September issue of W Magazine, KRISTEN STEWART hits the newsstands again -- this time for the November issue of Glamour!
Kristen modeled a plethora of designer styles, including her cover look which consisted of an orange and white thin striped Bottega Veneta bustier and cuffed "Stiletto" jeans by Current/Elliott. The only accessories used were a diamond necklace by Jordan Alexander for Fragments and a gunmetal necklace by Martin Katz.
