WHO: Candice Accola WHERE & WHEN: Trevor LIVE! LA 2013 on December 8, 2013. WEARING: Alexander Wang top, Theory pants & Azzedine Alaïa shoes. MY VERDICT: While her "Vampire Diaries" co-star Nina Dobrev opted for a little glamour, Candice kept it edgy when she hit the red carpet for The Trevor Project's annual Trevor LIVE! event last night in Hollywood. The 26-year-old actress wore a white long Alexander Wang Resort 2013 tunic, which features a black leather collared bib and zipped detail that starts from neck to waist, and gives off a cool angled cut look.
WHO: Nina Dobrev WHERE & WHEN: Trevor LIVE! LA 2013 on December 8, 2013. WEARING: Elie Saab dress, Rupert Sanderson shoes, Rauwolf clutch, and jewelry by Swarovski & John Hardy. MY VERDICT: Nina arrived on the red carpet at The Trevor Project's annual Trevor LIVE! event in Hollywood last night wearing one of her most flattering colors. The 24-year-old star of "The Vampire Diaries" donned a floor-sweeping beautiful blue Elie Saab sleeveless gown, which features a button-up lace bodice and collar from the designer's Spring 2013 runway collection.
Kristin Chenoweth was amongst the many celebrities who attended the annual Trevor Live event in Hollywood last night. But, before taking the stage with Anne Kendrick for a rendition of "For Good" from the Broadway musical Wicked, in which she was part of the original cast, Kristin rocked the red carpet in a glittering gold BCBGMAXAZRIA dress. The gleaming short sleeve, floor-length sequin embellished frock is certainly something I think Galinda of Oz would appreciate. Unfortunately, Kristin changed into a short pink tiered silk dress for performance.
Rashida Jones rocked the red carpet last night in a bold, brightly colored ensemble when she attended the annual Trevor Live! event in Hollywood. The "Parks and Recreation" star arrived in a vivid blue suit by Cèline, which I'm practically obsessed with all on its own. I mean, seriously, it's too good. I love when women stick with what's comfortable to them, and if that's a pair of well-fit trousers and a blazer over a dress...than that's a wise choice to make. This color looked fantastic on Rashida, and I really dig that she didn't play it safe with her top and shoes just because she went strong on the suit.
Katy Perry simply dazzled when she stepped out for the annual Trevor Live event hosted by The Trevor Project last night in Hollywood where she was honored as a "Trevor Hero". The 28-year-old "Part Of Me" singer looked beautiful in a form-fitting, full-length, nude lace long sleeve Marchesa dress, from the Resort 2013 collection, which was fully embellished with sparkling hand-embroidered bead work. I'm a hard one to please with nude dresses, but I loved everything from the design to the fit.
It was a major red carpet this past Saturday at The Hollywood Palladium for the annual "Trevor Live!" event hosted by The Trevor Project -- the leading national organization with the focus on suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQ Youth. Supporters in the entertainment and corporate world came out to honor and celebrate at the fundraising event. Jayma Mays plays a cardigan-wearing/OCD-suffering guidance counselor on the FOX hit series "Glee", but that night the 32-year-old actress nixed the sweaters for a metallic short dress from Burberry London. This short sleeve dress was anything but ordinary as featured an array of gemstones that completely embellished the shoulders. It was a great look on her, and I'm glad she wore the Burberry pewter strappy sandals with it.
"Glee" star Dianna Agron hit the red carpet on Sunday night for The Trevor Project's annual Trevor Live! event at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California. The 25-year-old actress wore head-to-toe black consisting of a vintage Chloé silk dress with a ruby and diamond brooch at the neckline. This dress was pretty much lackluster for me, so I appreciate the touch of elegance with that detail. It would have been nice for her don a pair of dark red leather strappy sandals to play up the stones in the brooch, but as it goes with many ladies on the red carpet, Dianna just kept it simple with those Yves Saint Laurent "Tribtoo" pumps. It's as if YSL doesn't have other shoes.
The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention lifeline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth, held their annual Trevor Live! event on Saturday night. The red carpet at The Hollywood Palladium was abuzz with celebrities and corporate leaders arriving to show their support for the cause. "Modern Family" actress Julie Bowen decided to go 'all-black everything' for the evening in a nappa leather "Diabla" cap sleeve sheath dress from the UK label Gomez-Gracia. Julie wore a pair of black peep toe pumps, but I think cool strappy platform sandals would have played off the edgy vibe of the dress much more. She's also carrying a satin Christian Louboutin clutch. I love her low ponytail with the light volume at the crown of her hair along with her gold hoop earrings featuring a diamond shaped black charm. Miley Cyrus skipped out on the red carpet, but there's no way one of The Trevor Project's biggest supporters would miss the event all together. The 19-year-old singer hit the stage to perform her song "The Climb" while donned in a gorgeous beaded bronze metallic long-sleeve "Dayal" cocktail dress by designer Farah Angsana. This dress is so gorgeous and Miley's long honey-colored wavy tendrils looked fabulous with the color and cut of the dress. I really wish she had walked the carpet to show off her look from head-to-toe.
