Review: ZOYA ‘Zenith’ Holiday/Winter 2013 Collection

Product Review

Review: ZOYA Zenith Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionWe’re quickly approaching Christmas, which means the holiday season is nearing a close and the winter blues will soon be upon us as the days are filled with bitter weather, and the holiday decorations quickly come down. I tend to try to find things to perk me up to beat the ‘woe is me’ vibe that hits that first day back to work after ringing in the New Year, and I think ZOYA will be a positive contributor this year.

The cool team over at Zoya recently sent their “ZENITH” Holiday-Winter 2013 collection my way, and now I can officially show you how a bit of shimmer and vivid sparkle is a key to blasting those winter blues.

Be prepared to fall in love with the lively shades below!

Review: ZOYA Zenith Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionSERAPHINA
SERAPHINA — What a pretty silver metallic! Shades this pale can be a hit or miss with some complexions, and I’m not sure if it’s a match for my tan skin with olive undertones, but I still like it.

Review: ZOYA Zenith Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionBELINDA
BELINDA — Behold the purple power! This is even prettier in person, and it has these tiny blue flecks that gives it a blue-violet vibe. Very smooth formula, and complete coverage with two coats.

Review: ZOYA Zenith Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionMOSHEEN over BELINDA
MOSHEEN — Normally, I’m not a big fan of any polish with bar glitter because it tends to lift on me, or brands over-do it. That being said, I think this is pretty great, and I especially dig it over “Belinda” (first photo). I paired it over “Seraphina” in the second photo, and it reminds me of glistening snow, so pretty!

Review: ZOYA Zenith Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionCASSEDY
CASSEDY — This is a metallic pewter with great coverage, and formula I barely needed two coats.

Review: ZOYA Zenith Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionDREAM
DREAM — Clearly this is a color that lives up to its name because it is oh-so-dreamy. I LOVE everything about this! Not only am I a sucker for blue, but the holographic sparkle in this is just too gorgeous to describe. If you’re familiar with Zoya, this is right up there with Aurora and Storm. I love it—and I just can’t say that enough.

Review: ZOYA Zenith Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionPAYTON
PAYTON — Welp, everything I just said about “Dream” above, I’m going to go ahead and dubbed this one with a major ‘DITTO’. This beauty, a deep wine/berry shade, is also packed with holo glitter. The formula on this had a bit more of a jelly texture than “Dream”, but I still only needed two coats.

VERDICT: Overall, this is probably one of my favorite Winter collections I’ve seen and tried so far. My top 3 favorites are easily “Dream”, “Payton” and “Belinda”—what can I say? They’re simply MUST haves.
