I love themed photo shoots, especially those that take place amongst a vibrant, colorful, and fun setting.
MILA KUNIS may be propped up in front of a white background for the April 2012 cover of
Harper’s Bazaar, but inside the pages of the fashion magazine you’ll find the “Oz: The Great and Powerful” actress playing around at a carnival while donned in gorgeous designer looks.
Photographed by Terry Richardson and styled by Julia Von Boehm, Mila shows that you can ride a carousel while dressed in an itty-bitty bodysuit and stiletto sandals. Although, she still doesn’t make it look easy.
This cut-out aqua
Versace gown was colorized into a cotton candy pink to pop against Mila’s caramel complexion on the cover, but I can’t help wishing they had kept it in the oceanic hue.
For another in-studio shot, Mila bared a whole lot of skin in a color-block steel blue and yellow satin swimsuit, from the Spring 2012 collection by
Prada, as she tossed her full mane of voluminous waves.
Balancing barefoot on the carousel, Mila held on wearing a shimmering gold sequin jacket and multicolored iridescent pleated skirt from the Spring 2012 collection by
Roberto Cavalli. It looks like she was a character from the attraction that came to life! The details of the designs were illuminated against the golden ride.
Taking a break to blow the brightest bubblegum bubble, Mila sat down in a lacy ivory sheath dress by
Chanel that she paired with multi-strap metallic mules from the Spring 2012 collection by
Louis Vuitton.
My eyes are instantly drawn to Mila’s in this shot! I love the dramatic smokey eyes she was given here.
This is how you make a gown look better on you than the runway model! It’s no wonder Mila is the new face of the
Dior label — look how stunning she is sitting sideways in a blushing pink embroidered strapless silk chiffon gown.
With one leg casually thrown over the other, Mila rocked a pair of white Mary-Jane Louis Vuitton pumps.
Mr. Ed, is that you? Mila posed with a new friend while donned in a stunning blue and gold stencil floral dress from
Louis Vuitton.
I wish we had gotten a full-length photo of this one!
Oh, my favorite pastime of any carnival — the cotton candy! Mila nibbles on a cone of the fluffy sugary treat in an equally sweet blue dress from the Spring 2012 collection by
Yves Saint Laurent. The nearly sideways view of this dress gave you an eye-full of the incredible layered ruffles that make up the sides of this plunging neck design.
The bright blue is breathtaking.
How can you put on this black bustier with a festival of multicolored jewels by
Dolce & Gabbana and not have fun? Mila is all smiles as she rocks this bodysuit with a pair of strappy golden
Tom Ford sandals.
This is another photo I wish we had gotten another shot off, as nothing compares to the full view of this design.
Stepping off the ride for a final wardrobe change, Mila struts along the boardwalk with a fist full of balloons in a textured lavender “baby doll” mini dress by
Alexander McQueen.
It was all about the voluminous details in this shot as Mila’s full mane played off the fluffed vibe of the design.
She completed the look in the best way — by slipping on the matching mega-high platform sandals from the collection!
