Dark Beauty: Charlize Theron & Kristen Stewart for Interview Magazine!

There’s no doubt about it, CHARLIZE THERON and KRISTEN STEWART are an unstoppable force. They may be from the opposite sides of good and bad on the big screen, as they face off as the evil queen Ravenna and the fair Snow White in Universal’s “Snow White and the Huntsman”, but the two are friends in real-life — and a pair of stunning gal pals, if you ask me.

Both ladies took over the fashion magazines this past month as they geared up for the June 1st release of their film, but the June/July 2012 issue of Interview Magazine gave us something we really wanted — a devastatingly glam cover shoot with both striking femmes!

In this dark and beautiful editorial lens by Mikael Jansson, Charlize and Kristen pose in the gothic-chic United Artists Theater in downtown Los Angeles wearing some of the most glamorous looks from the latest Fall 2012 collections as they brood behind sleek tresses and dark lips.

Karl Templer pulled some of the most striking pieces from designers like Tom Ford, Versace, Lanvin, Christian Dior and Dries Van Noten for the ladies, and The Fashion Court appreciates his fine eye that helped create a prominent fashion palette.

Because this is ‘Interview’ magazine, Elvis Mitchell sat down with the SWATH stars to talk about their kick-ass movie, their very broad film careers, Charlize’s newest role as a mother, and tons more. It’s a juicy read!

But, let’s take a closer look at the fashion, shall we?

For the cover, Charlize wore a black silk satin dress, with a peplum top encrusted with crystals, from Christian Dior. Her necklace is by Nina Ricci. Kristen is wearing a embellished black gown from Valentino with a Lynn Bann necklace. Both wear black netting on their faces from New York Vintage.

 

I wish there was a full shot of Kristen in this metallic animal print embroidered Balenciaga coat, and Charlize in her rusty red leopard sequin-embroidered panel cocktail dress from Christian Dior.

Their necklaces are the same Lynn Bann and Nina Ricci as on the cover.

Kristen wears a black wool cape coat by Dries Van Noten, which was belted by Yves Saint Laurent over her Salvatore Ferragamo lacy fall blouse. Her earrings are by RJ Graziano and — cigarette in hand — Kristen holds onto a studded Valentino thin black clutch.

Still on opposite sides? Just for this photo! Kristen relaxes — cigarette still in hand — wearing a leather panel jacket and matching trousers from Alexander Wang over a Belstaff leather blouse and a purple silk lace camisole by Carine Gilson.

She accessorizes with Yves Saint Laurent perspex pumps, a Lynn Bann necklace, Valentino clutch and RJ Graziano earrings.

Charlize reclines in a Bottega Veneta dress and embroidered bolero with Calvin Klein Collection tall leather boots. Her belt is from Gucci while her charm necklace is by Salvatore Ferragamo.

Kristen stares intensely at the camera wearing a black feather-embroidered Alexander Wang black dress, with a sheer crew-neck yoke attached to long sleeves, over a L’Wren Scott suede pencil skirt.

She accessorized with the same Lynn Bann necklace, RJ Graziano earrings, a Chanel ring and — even though you can’t see her feet — she’s wearing the same YSL pumps that were paired with the Givenchy look.

I love this black v-neck cocktail dress by Emilio Puccion Kristen here. The sheer halterneck yoke and sleeves are so sexy and is something I’d love to see her wear on the red carpet.

The dress was paired with the perspex heel YSL pumps, a Chanel cuff, RJ Graziano earrings, a Lynn Bann necklace and a “Prive” shiny black crocodile flap clutch by VBH with a black textile body.

Charlize is wearing a purple pattern embroidered Yves Saint Laurent belted coat over a Tom Ford blouse. She’s back in the Salvatore Ferragamo charm necklace and the same Calvin Klein Collection boots.
