Cover Girl: Keira Knightley’s Whimsical Garden Editorial for Harper’s Bazaar UK!

After spending the summer in our movie theaters starring opposite Steve Carrell in “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World”, KEIRA KNIGHTLEY returns to cinemas this fall in the title role of “Anna Karenina”; the Joe Wright-directed film based off the famed novel by Russian writer Leo Tolstoy.

As if that role wasn’t enough, the newly-engaged English actress also scored the lead for Harper Bazaar UK ‘s September issue! Ellen Von Unwerth photographed the English beauty in a mysterious dark garden wearing a whimsical array of looks straight from the Fall/Winter 2012 runways.

For the cover, Keira gives us “the side-eye” while donned in a tweed-and-feather embellished Chanel cape and sporting a berry-stained open pout and partially gathered cascading tendrils as she clutches an oversize dark red rose. But, inside the issue Cathy Kasterine took the dark beauty further by styling Keira in some incredible pieces with a ‘feminine edge’ from Yves Saint Laurent, Balmain, Lanvin and more!

Wearing a black radzimir gown from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Valentino, paired with leather studded heels from the collection. Jewelry includes a Chanel Fine Jewelry white gold, pearl and diamond bracelet along with the same platinum-plated black spinel and white diamond ring by Armenta at the Talisman Gallery from the cover.

There is no doubt — this is my favorite photo from the shoot! Keira is wearing a metal and rubber dress with a leather belt from Yves Saint Laurent. Her jewelry includes: Pamela Love silver-and-wood necklace, a Adorn Til Dusk oxidized silver headband, a platinum-plated lack sapphire and white diamond shield ring, a platinum-coated silver and kyanite ring and a silver-plated white diamond bracelet — all on the right hand and from Armenta at the Talisman Gallery. On her left hand Keira wears a platinum-plated black spine and white diamond ring from Armenta at the Talisman Gallery.

It’s all about the arrival and Keira makes a stunning entrance wearing a pewter sequin Antonio Berardi strapless gown beneath a black satin floor-length L’Wren Scott cape. In her hair she wears a crystal feather headband and a diamanté-and-ribbon headband, both from Jennifer Behr. Jewelry includes a white gold, pearl and diamond bracelet from Chanel Fine Jewelry and her ever-present Armenta at the Talisman Gallery ring.

A full length photo of Keira in this tulle embroidered Gucci gown was needed but not provided, unfortunately.

How can you have a photoshoot with Keira Knightley and not include a few looks from Chanel? Here she is in her second Fall/Winter look; a black jersey dress with a diamanté brooch. Jewelry is the same as before though the faux-fur stole in her hand was Kasterine’s own.

Keira wears a luxe silk-and-viscose velvet blue jacket and trousers from Balmain, an off-runway look from the Fall collection. Beneath the plush suit she dons a L’Agence slouchy top. Additionally, Keira wears a gold-plated headband from Liberty and a gold oxidized silver-and-diamond necklace from Armenta at the Talisman Gallery. Her ring is the same as before. As for her shoes? Studded combo ankle boots by Valentino.
