Robert Pattinson in Alexander McQueen | “Jimmy Kimmel Live”

Last night I tuned in to “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to see Robert Pattinson promote “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2”, and about 3 things I was absolutely positive: he’s still on that black-and-blue kick, he finally wore an Alexander McQueen suit, and he continues to be one of the most entertaining guests to watch on a late night talk show.

The 26-year-old English actor stepped out on stage wearing a navy blue single breasted blazer and slim fit trousers, from McQueen’s Fall-Winter 2012 collection, that he paired with a partially unbuttoned black shirt and matching leather dress shoes that were—according to him—too big for his feet.

Rob chatted with Jimmy about filming the “Twilight” series, the US election and sky-diving while he was in Australia recently.

I like when he wears a blue suit; it compliments his features while still being colorful—and you know I’m all about that. With that said, I think what I loved most about this look was the relaxed shirt as well as the cut of the blazer on him. You can’t see it too well in his position in these photos, but if you take a look at the video below–you’ll notice the slim fit and tapering at the waist that gave Rob a trim silhouette. Sometimes guys wear jackets that pucker around around their mid-section too much, but this one looked made for his body. The pant leg seemed to raise just a tad too high for me, but I can’t tell if that was just how he was sitting in it.

All in all—this was another ‘suited Rob look’ to add to my collection of favorites.
