MY VERDICT: After showing off a bit of her punk side earlier this month for the annual MET Costume Institute Gala, Ashley Greene brightened up at the Runway To Hope spring fashion show in Orlando, Florida. The 26-year-old former “Twilight” star looked beautiful in a vibrant Spring 2013 coral silk gown by Diane von Furstenberg with a metallic plate at the halterneck and matching cuffs, which were attached to the dress for a dramatic Egyptian goddess lift.
Despite her minimal attention to hair and makeup, this might be one of my favorite recent looks from Ashley. I’m often let down by some of her serious choices that end up being a bit drab thanks to neutral tones, or aging her because of matronly silhouettes, and yet this was so youthful and effortless that it has me keeping my fingers crossed that we’ll see her in brighter tones and airy frocks this summer as she gears up to promote her new movie “CBGB”.
