MY VERDICT: To finish out the press tour for “Still Alice” in New York City, Kristen made a visit to “Late Night with Seth Meyers” to talk about the film. The 24-year-old actress suited up, literally, in a Sandro “Valice” dark grey tuxedo from the Fall/Winter 2014 collection with black lapels and piping down the pants.
She wore the suit in full during her departure (see here) but took off the jacket for the actual interview, which showed off her Jonathan Simkhai knit crop angle racer black top and Jillian Dempsey “Punk Lock” necklace better. This was a great look for her, and I really loved beauty details and accessories. Kristen wore her short ‘do with a center part and tucked neatly behind her ears for a sleek look, and her beautiful bright lipstick perfectly coordinated with her candy pink Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pumps.
Overall, I’m so glad to see Kristen embracing menswear-inspired looks a lot lately. I remember often voicing my desire to see her wear a tuxedo at least once, and over the past few years we’ve seen her in so many variations of cool androgynous pieces and they suit her (pun-intended) as well as I imagined.
