Review: Morgan Taylor 'Cinderella' Spring 2015 Collection

Bring the magic of Disney’s live-action feature film “Cinderella” to your fingertips this spring with the help of Morgan Taylor. The professional nail lacquer teamed up with the ‘house of mouse’ to create a gorgeous collection of both classic and gel polish to celebrate the fairytale—including an array of lush cremes and magical shimmers.

Being a total fanatic of all things Disney and a lover of Morgan Taylor polishes, I was beyond thrilled to test out this collection and share it with all of you. “Cinderella” hits theaters next month, so there’s plenty of time to get your hands on the line and choose a color to wear to the theater as you watch the magic unfold on the big screen on March 13th.

Review: Morgan Taylor 'Cinderella' Spring 2015 CollectionPARTY AT THE PALACE
Party at the Palace — I absolutely LOVE this light shimmery teal! While it may be subtle, the shimmer really does make this extraordinarily pretty. I didn’t have any streaking and the formula was pretty smooth. I used two coats to cover.

Review: Morgan Taylor 'Cinderella' Spring 2015 CollectionMY CARRIAGE AWAITS
My Carriage Awaits — This is a beautiful coral creme with a very slight shimmer–it’s also my favorite color for the summer! The formula on this one had just a bit of streaking on the first coat, so I used two coats for coverage.

Review: Morgan Taylor 'Cinderella' Spring 2015 CollectionWATCH YOUR STEP SISTER
Watch Your Step, Sister! — A bright and bold hot pink creme that looks a bit red at times. This one didn’t have too much of an issue with any streaking, however, it was a bit thin.

Review: Morgan Taylor 'Cinderella' Spring 2015 CollectionBEST BALL GOWN EVER
Best Ball Gown Ever — This is a iridescent light powder blue that almost looks as if it has a layer of gold shimmer over it, and it actually matches the color of Cinderella’s dress in the film perfectly. I used three coats for complete nail coverage.

Review: Morgan Taylor 'Cinderella' Spring 2015 CollectionELLA OF A GIRL
Ella of a Girl — This is a light shade of salmon pink creme; it’s super girly and great for spring. Formula-wise, it was very streak-ish so my suggestion is to make sure to let it dry between coats. I used three coats to make sure everything was even.

Review: Morgan Taylor 'Cinderella' Spring 2015 CollectionIF THE SLIPPER FITS
If the Slipper Fits — A stunning light blue glitter packed with sparkles! What’s a Cinderella collection without a bit of magic? This totally does the trick and honors the glass slipper beautifully. I got a good amount of coverage with two coats, but did three just to make sure.

VERDICT: Overall, I found this to be a very elegant collection. Not only do the names capture “Cinderella”, but the colors wonderfully coordinate with the film. Each polish is great on its own, but I also find myself eager to test out some nail art because all of the colors compliment each other as well. My favorites are–hands down–Party at the Palace and My Carriage Awaits.
