MY VERDICT: Kelly had several wardrobe changes for her duties as host of the BBMAs this year, and she kicked them off with a custom black gown by Christian Siriano when she hit the red carpet. The slim-fitting frock featured a cool asymmetric structured neckline with a white polka-dot lining that coordinated with her studded strappy sandals and minaudière. This was a very flattering for Kelly.
During the show she went on to rock five more custom pieces from Siriano– including a studded long-sleeve v-neck gown, a gold fringed double-breasted suit with a dramatic skirted train, and a sparkling gold tuxedo that was perfect for the Las Vegas setting.
For her next three changes, Kelly wore a studded black leather Versace outfit (far left), another Siriano two-piece look that boasted a gold chain-embellished blazer, and a black-and-white colorblock Balmain dress with gold accents (far right).
Kelly stayed consistent with the color theme throughout the entire show, which I don’t recall seeing from a host but I was diggin’ it. For her last Siriano creation, the “Love So Soft” singer showed off her vocal chops in a fringed gold mini dress and black tights.
