MY VERDICT: Taylor made a surprising return to the red carpet at the BBMAs last night wearing a fierce custom Versace Atelier gown. The 28-year-old, who took a break from her “Reputation” world tour, slipped into the light pink asymmetric gown–which took over 800 hours to create, featured a daring thigh high slit, a floor-sweeping half cape and scattered appliqués at the bust, shoulder and hips. Taylor’s recent style has taken on a more casual tone, so it was exciting to see her all dolled up in the whimsical gown.
She wore gold Casadei T-bar platform sandals that pulled from the metallic tones in the dress details before completing the look with Hueb earrings, and rings from Fernando Jorge, Maxior Joias and Sara Weinstock.
