Based on E. T. A. Hoffmann‘s “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky‘s ballet “The Nutcracker”, Disney has re-imagined the classic holiday tale into a live-action adventure starring Mackenzie Foy, Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, Misty Copeland and Morgan Freeman.
