It’s going to be the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ if you’re a fan of Hello Kitty, because OPI has collaborated with Sanrio and the iconic kitty to make the holiday season extra festive and bow-tiful for your next manicure! This 15-shade nail polish collection features a fabulous assortment of bright colors, brilliant pink hues and the perfect balance of shimmer and glitter — and there’s a lot of it!
OPI hooked me up with a few shades from the adorably festive line, and they were so pretty that I had to go pick up a few more! Check out my review to get a closer look at this super cute holiday collection.
Hush of Blush – A light, almost pearlized and frosty pink. It’s not a color that’s really my style, but fits perfectly with Hello Kitty. I do love the pearlized look though! I didn’t have an issues with application, but it’s more on the sheer side so I used three coats for coverage.
Let’s Celebrate! (over Hush of Blush) – This is a fuschia micro glitter mixed with large iridescent pieces in a tinted pink base. I love it! To me it seemed best to wear as a topper instead of on it’s own. I swatched it with one coat over Hush of Blush, but I’m sure you could do so many great combos with it.
Let Love Sparkle – A pretty light blue frost with micro iridescent glitter. The glitter sort of sinks into the polish once dry, giving it almost a textured look and feel, which I’m not a big fan of. I used three coats for coverage, I could have probably gotten away with two if my nails were shorter.
Hello Pretty – This shade is a very pretty grape purple, but a real pain to try and photograph! Grr.
No matter how many shots I took my camera would not pick up its true color, which is more of a brighter grape. The formula was surprisingly really thin and sheer, but covered well with two coats.
Pile on the Sprinkles – A purple version of Let’s Celebrate and I absolutely love it!! Again, in my opinion it’s best worn as a topper….so I paired it with Hello Pretty.
A Kiss on the Chic – Classic cherry red creme, nothing super unique but a great formula.
To be honest, I’ve said it before and it’s still true…no one does reds like OPI.
My Favorite Gal Pal – This is a good navy blue creme…application was a breeze, and this is two coats of coverage, and as you can see from my middle and pinky..there are some sheer spots.
You might need 3 coats depending on how heavy you apply.
Glitter to My Heart – I love glitters that mix white and silver together as they go with so much. This one is a mix of micro silver glitter with medium to large white pieces in a clear base.
I’ve worn it over My Favorite Gal Pal to make it pop.

Glitter All the Way – Jam-packed with various size glitter pieces, this yellow gold bomb is amazing! I’ve swatched it on it’s own with three coats, however it can definitely be worn as a topper with one coat OR for a real full coverage look two coats over a similar gold.
Dream in Glitter – Another great glitter bomb full of various small pieces of red glitter in a clear base. While I wasn’t crazy about this worn on it’s own, I LOVE it over red!!
VERDICT: Overall, this is such a cute collection that matches Hello Kitty so well, and has something for everyone. The cremes and frosty colors are great, but either not really my colors or classic enough I already own something similar. However, I absolutely love every glitter and definitely recommend you get them all! So, my must haves are: Glitter All the Way, Pile on the Sprinkles, Dream In Glitter and Let’s Celebrate … in that order.
