MY VERDICT: Because a lot of elements of the MTV VMAs were filmed over the course of a week due to the mostly virtual nature of this year’s ceremony, we had already been given a sneak peek of what Joey King would be wearing, and oh how it was a good look.
The “Kissing Booth 2” actress donned a vivid floral long sleeve dress from the Versace Pre-Fall 2020 collection in shades of yellow, bright green and fiery red; I absolutely love this pattern, the cut, and how it looks on Joey.
The dress is loud enough to do most of the ‘talking’, but I like the overall styling; the dress was partnered with red half patent/half glitter ISCREAM ‘Cherry’ pumps and layered jewelry from Ellie Vail, Lang Antique & Estate and Established. Sleek tresses and smoky makeup helped her nail this VMA fashion moment.
