WHERE & WHEN: 2020 MTV Video Music Awards on August 30, 2020.
WEARING: Look 1- Head-to-toe Berluti; Look 2- Dsquared2 jumpsuit
MY VERDICT: MGK made sure you took notice of his MTV VMA arrival by rocking a three-piece look in a vivid shade of pink; he’s wearing a sleeveless turtleneck, double-breasted blazer and trousers from the Berluti Fall/Winter 2020 Menswear collection. The black lace up shoes he has on also come from the same collection, and they helped balance out the bold color.
The sleeveless top aided in showing off MGK’s full tattoo sleeves, so he mostly left the jacket draped over his shoulder because: fashion. A pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings completed the look.
On the real, and possibly an unpopular opinion, I don’t think he needed the necklace.
During the show, MGK switched into a comfortable jumpsuit, but it was anything but simple.
He wore a DSQUARED2 Spring/Summer 2020 blue nylon jumpsuit to present an award as well as accept the award for ‘Best Alternative Video’. He’s also wearing the black twin sole laced up shoes from the line, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get a proper visual for you to see.
