MY VERDICT: Emily has been hard at work promoting her latest movie, A Quiet Place 2, which has been long-awaited since the original film premiered in 2018. For this particular day of press, the actress selected a Miu Miu Pre-Spring 2021 long-sleeved cropped poplin shirt, which is decorated with a black bow tie, voile ruching and pleats, that was paired with a matching voluminous pleated voile skirt.
The look was polished off with blank ankle-strapped heels.
I like both pieces individually a lot, and I think Emily pulls the look off as whole, but I’m not a huge fan of this. I don’t dislike it, but maybe the hesitance is because I absolutely adore the lookbook styling of the black trousers with the top and the skirt pairing with the silver embellished bralette.
A sleek up-do and bright pink lips provided the finishing touches.
