Review: OPI x Gwen Stefani Holiday 2014 Collection - Rollin' In Cashmere TrioWelcome to the third and final installment of my review of the OPI x Gwen Stefani Holiday 2014 Collection. This time around I focused on the Rollin’ In Cashmere trio pack, which includes a soft opulent gold, a fun iridescent hex glitter reminiscent of a snow globe, and a whimsical multi-glitter made up of darker tones.

Rollin’ In Cashmere is one of two trios features with the holiday collab. You can check out my review of the Unfrost My Heart Trio as well as my test-run of the 12 Cremes and Shimmers also featured in the collection.

Rollin’ In Cashmere — I would describe this as velvet pale gold metallic, if you can even imagine that. There are many things about this polish that I simply don’t like. I’m not sure if it’s because the gold looks really more yellow, or maybe the fact that no matter how careful I applied, I still got brush strokes. I don’t know what it is exactly, but this is one of my least favorites.

Snow Globetrotter — This truly reminds me of a pretty snowglobe. It’s packed with multi-sized white and rainbow hex glitter in a clear base. So gorgeous! The coverage was really good with just one coat and I didn’t have to fish for any of the glitter. For the photo, I used this glitter over the pretty purple I Carol About You, but I also found it to look great over What’s Your Point-settia?.

Comet in The Sky — Love, love, LOVE this! It seriously remind me Christmas lights with its mix of iridescent and black hex glitter. I want to put this over everything! I used this over Red Fingers and Mistletoes, my favorite combination.

VERDICT: I really loved this trio collection! I can’t imagine a holiday collection without gold, so that’s a must-have–especially with one this pretty. I also really enjoyed the glitters because, for me, they represented key details of the holiday season. Having said that, Comet In The Sky is most certainly the stand-out from this group.
