MY VERDICT: I should probably start off with how thrilled I was to see Ashley wearing a dress I had in mind for her off my Wish List. The “CBGB” star arrived to the PUNK: Chaos to Couture themed gala tonight in a Marchesa strapless black structured ball gown with gold baroque embroidery from the Fall 2013 collection. It fit the dress code by combining punk and glam–although it was a little more girlie, and that was exactly what I imagined her doing. The red carpet will be filled with all types of punk rock glam this Monday night for the 2013 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala where your favorite heavy-hitters in fashion, music, film and television will mingle at the stylish fête. Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci will be hosting the VOGUE soirèe that has been officially themed “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” to honor the latest exhibition at the mueseum.

WHERE & WHEN: amfAR New York Gala To Kick Off Fall 2013 Fashion Week on February 6, 2013.

MY VERDICT: After enjoying Super Bowl festivities over the weekend, Ashley returned to New York City where she attended the amfAR New York Gala to kick off New York Fall 2013 Fashion Week.  The 25-year-old “Breaking Dawn” actress looked beautiful in a ivory crepe Giambattista Valli column gown with a twisted halter neck.  I love the clean lines of this silhouette, but despite liking the keyhole detail, after seeing the elegant folded design on the model, I find myself wishing Ashley’s had been closed as well.  That being said, I adore the enchanting gold leaf motif at the waist; it really brightens up the look further and gives it character.

It only helps that Ashley’s dark espresso locks were styled in glamorous side-parted curls—a look I much prefer on her over the center-part.  Yes, it really makes a difference.  | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: I may be a “love it or leave it” type of person with flesh tone dresses, but I really love the beaded cocktail dress that Ashley wore to the Audi party while kicking off Super Bowl 2013.  The former “Twilight” actress selected the glittering single shoulder design from Monique Lhuillier‘s Resort 2012 collection.  Because of the knee-length hem line, I wish Ash had either worn a sexy pointed toe stiletto pump or a dark gold sandal. I’m not really against the fact that it matches because it’s good that the dress stands out, but that round toe platform silhouette is too boring. They’re more distracting than they should be.

Ashley finished her look with minimal makeup and jewelry, and beautiful perfectly sculpted cascading curls.

Earlier this month, after gracing the black carpet in a whimsical pink gown for her arrival at the Hollywood premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, Ashley Greene was spotted mingling with her costars Peter Facinelli and Gil Birmingham at the after party wearing a white dress with crystal embellishments.

The 25-year-old actress flaunted her curves in a silk sleeveless cocktail dress by Antonio Berardi, which featured a plunging v-neck opening that showcased an attached crystal-embroidered sweetheart bandeau with a tiny peekaboo cutout beneath it.

I wish I could see the dress in full; I imagine it’s knee-length, but considering it’s an off-runway piece that I’m only now seeing for the first time, it could graze the floor. This seems like a nice choice for her, so I’m bothered that it didn’t get enough attention.

Ashley Greene was spotted on November 15th at FOX studios in New York City wearing a black and white colorblock sheath dress by Narciso Rodriguez as she promoted “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, which is in theaters now!

As it turns out, the 25-year-old had just taped an appearance on the daytime talk show “Anderson Live”, hosted by Anderson Cooper.  Ashley, who is pretty much known for her classic and modest approach to fashion, switched things up only slightly by taking on the more relaxed silhouette of a short-sleeve design ($995, bergdorfgoodman.com).

It’s rare that we see ASHLEY GREENE break from her very classic approach to style and beauty, but the “Twilight” star embraced her inner rock-star at the 9th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York City when she paired a midnight  lacy Wes Gordon outfit with intense onyx-black smoky eyes and a layered mane of blooming curls.

Ashley’s mane man Ted Gibson assisted in getting her ready by perfecting those tendrils!

“Tousled textured hair is the look for Ashley. I cut her hair shoulder length a couple of weeks ago and clipped it to mostly one length with a little layering to create a slight bit of softness.

To get this tousled style for Ashley, I used Build It Blow Drying Agent on dry hair using my fingers twirling around until it was all dry. This creates a rock ‘n roll texture that isn’t considered pretty—just edgy, then I took a 1/2 inch iron all over the entire head to give it that “I’m too cool to care” vibe. | continue reading..

Are my eyes deceiving me or did Ashley Greene seriously wear a super sexy dress last night for the New York City screening of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″? I almost couldn’t believe that the 25-year-old broke out of her safe fashion rut and into something so completely outside of what we’re use to seeing her in—but, she did and she did it so well.

Ashley arrived on her final “Twilight” black carpet wearing a navy Donna Karan Atelier delicately washed silk, satin-faced georgette corset with mesh insets between the seams and a grosgrain band at the boning; attached to the corset was a floor-length matching navy skirt that’s draped in heavy 4-ply silk crepe. | continue reading..
