Elizabeth Banks shimmered to perfection when she hit the red carpet for the Los Angeles Film Festival premiere of “People Like Us” in a mosaic cutout cocktail dress by J. Mendel.

With a swept up sculpted mane and bold jewelry, makeup artist Fiona Stiles helped Liz put the finishing touches on her fabulous ensemble with a complimenting – yet – non-overpowering beauty look. “Elizabeth has been a busy bee this year! This was our fourth or fifth red carpet event this year so far. I love getting to make her up – she loves clothes, loves makeup and always wants to play with her look. For the premiere, a simple but strong look was what we were going for.”

“I prepped the skin with Yon-Ka Pamplemousse moisturizer, and used Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in 8.5 as a base, topped with a bit of CHANEL Natural Finish Loose Powder in #30. I contoured her cheeks with INGLOT AMC Cream Blush #94, and added a touch of Benefit Sunbeam as a highlighter. | continue reading..

“True Blood” star Deborah Ann Woll was sporting some seriously hot pink lips when she hit the Hollywood red carpet for the fifth season premiere of the hit HBO show on May 30th.

The 27-year-old added a double dose of color to her monochrome white and black look, partly due to her strawberry red hair, but mostly because of her vibrant raspberry pout.

Makeup artist Kayleen McAdams worked with Deborah to get her red carpet ready, and had every intention of making sure Deb’s kisser got some attention! “The dress was very graphic, so I wanted to do a bright pop of color. I went with a creamy raspberry lipstick and kept the eye soft.”

I love how the color reflected off of her ruby drop earrings!
