MY VERDICT: I haven’t see Eva looking this fantastic on the red carpet in a long time, so it’s kind of funny that she picked this particular event to have one of her best fashion moments.  This simplistic peach draped georgette “Bellini” dress looked beautiful on her petite frame, and against her long dark hair—which she left in sleek center parted strands.  With her signature smoky eyes and diamond stud earrings in place, Eva was ready for her close-up.

MY VERDICT: I really like the bright color of Eva’s lilac crepe sheath dress, but I much prefer the style of the belt from Saab’s Resort 2013 presentation over her skinnier and darker toned accessory.  That being said, I do like that she didn’t try to be too “matchy-matchy” by matching her purple suede Brian Atwood pumps to the color of her belt.  Normally I’d be all about the sandal, but given the environment of the event, I think her look was appropriate.

MY VERDICT: I didn’t expect to see Eva at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards on Thursday evening, but she graced the red carpet wearing a pretty gown by Monique Lhullier.  The former “Desperate Housewives” star selected the garnet 2-ply crepe tiered seamed gown with an open back, from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection.  I think I would have liked this more if Eva had worn her hair out, even if not completely.  She completed her look with a black clutch, Martin Katz cushion cut diamond stud earrings, and smoky eyes.

Eva Longoria hit the hot pink carpet on Saturday night for the annual Black Girls Rock! ceremony, held at the Paradise Theater in New York City. The non-profit youth organization is dedicated to empowering, mentoring and promoting the arts for young women of color.

The petite actress wore a short floral embroidered off-white dress from the “Lolita” collection by Dana Budeanu. I don’t think this dress could look more soft and cozy if it tried. If nothing else, Eva was comfortable all night. | continue reading..

On Saturday night, Eva Longoria stepped out on the red carpet as she attended the Padres Contra el Cancer’s 12th annual El Sueno de Esperanza gala, held at the Tropicana Casino in Las Vegas. Eva is the national spokeswoman for the cause.

The petite frame of the former “Desperate Housewives” actress was clad in a white silk “Jasmine” floor-length dress by Maria Lucia Hohan, which featured a plunging v-neckline and illusion cutaway at both sides of her waist. | continue reading..

Eva Longoria hit the NCLR ALMA Awards stage at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sunday night where she wore 10 different dresses! The 37-year-old began the night wearing Monique Lhuillier on the red carpet and ended it with a strapless Alberta Ferretti, but during the show, we were treated to an array of designs from bead-embellished to bright color and sleek cuts.

With each dress came a different hairstyle and pair of heels, but one thing that stayed the same would be her choice of jewelry. Eva wore a gorgeous pair of Martin Katz Fine Jewelry 2.55 kt Asscher cut diamond stud earrings, set in 18 kt gold and microset with 242 diamonds, throughout the night.

Eva Longoria posed in the press room following her hosting gig of the 2012 NCLR ALMA Awards wearing a plush black velvet strapless gown with sheer geometric panels at the slim skirt by Alberta Ferretti.

The flirty gown comes from Ferretti’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection, which Eva seems to be a huge fan of. We’ve seen her in several dresses from the collection, most recently while she was in Spain last month for the Global Gift Gala. | continue reading..

Eva Longoria arrived at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium with George Lopez on Sunday night as the two prepared for a night of hosting duties where Eva would change up her wardrobe well over five more times.

The 37-year-old former “Desperate Housewives” star was one of the shining stars of the night for me, and that was easily due to the fact that Eva wore my absolute favorite gown from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Monique Lhuillier.

You may remember me gushing over Ginnifer Goodwin wearing it in orange to the MET Gala this year, but I was slightly disappointed not to see it in the dramatic black. I guess I can thank Eva for breaking it out now. | continue reading..

Eva Longoria spent her weekend on the red carpet in Marbella, Spain as she celebrated the 2012 Global Gift Gala. On Saturday night, the former “Desperate Housewives” actress stepped out on the scarlet rug for a fundraiser at the Aqua Mist Club to represent the Eva Longoria Foundation, a beneficiary of the evening, wearing a sassy little black dress by Alberta Ferretti.

Eva wore a strapless cocktail number with a flirty chiffon skirt and satin ribbon with red embellished detailing all throughout the design. This dress comes from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The sparkling embroidery basically makes the whole design for me, but I will say that I’m thoroughly disappointed that Eva shortened the dress from the original knee-length from the runway. Eva Longoria celebrated the end of the 52nd Annual Monte Carlo TV Festival on Thursday with the red carpet closing ceremony, which also served as the Golden Nymph Awards ceremony.

The 37-year-old actress wore an ice blue, asymmetrical satin gown from the Fall 2011 collection by Marchesa.

Now, we all know that Eva is a devoted fan of Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman’s designs, and normally she has zero problems pulling them off, but there is something totally off with her in this particular creation.

Between the uber-long train, an overwhelming amount of large satin tufts and tucks, and the odd nude lace insets in the back — this proved to be a difficult one for the very petite Eva. | continue reading..
