Jessica Chastain celebrated the annual worldwide night of shopping — also known as Fashion’s Night Out, last night at the Jeffrey New York store in New York City while rocking a super hot black-and-blue leather dress.

The “Lawless” actress selected this colorblock layer-illusion cocktail dress from the Resort 2013 collection by Jason Wu, and paired it with her go-to black leather Yves Saint Laurent “Tribtoo” platform pumps with a skinny stiletto heel. | continue reading..

Sarah Paulson in Marc Jacobs | 2011 TIFF Premiere – “Martha Marcy May Marlene”

Sarah Paulson in Marc Jacobs | 2011 TIFF Premiere - 'Martha Marcy May Marlene'

Sarah Paulson was obviously going for a comfortable fun look tonight at the TIFF premiere of “Martha Marcy May Marlene” premiere when the actress arrived on the red carpet in a vibrant purple Marc Jacobs organza dress.

The beauty of wearing this dress that has many folds in the crinkle design is that it already has a “wrinkled look” and you can feel pretty confident in front of the cameras that you don’t have any faux pas going on. I love the young feel Sarah brought to the party dress with her rose gold hoop earrings, casual hair, light make-up and her satin “Marcela” pumps by Brian Atwood.

Ashley Tisdale spent celebrated FNO last night with Zac Posen at the Z Spoke store where she mingled with the designer and “One Tree Hill”s Sophia Bush and Shantel VanSanten.

Ashley wore a printed corset dress with a blue draped contrast fabric detail from the spring 2011 ready-to-wear collection. She kept her accessories minimal and finished her look off with black satin “Maniac” pumps by Brian Atwood.

It was young, it was fresh, and it suited Ashley perfectly.

Dakota Fanning in Marc Jacobs | Fashion’s Night Out NY

Dakota Fanning in Marc Jacobs | Fashion's Night Out NY

Looks like Marc Jacobs couldn’t throw his FNO bash last night without an appearance from the face of his “Lola” perfume — Dakota Fanning!

Dakota wore a metallic sheer tiered dress with floral details and plexiglass lace pumps from MJ’s resort 2012 collection. I wish more young ladies in Hollywood would take note of Dakota’s style. The 17-year-old actress always dresses her age and still manages to pull off a great look every time. See, it’s not that hard. Her hair is normally always left naturally pin-straight, so I’m wondering if she added a little wave to her locks for FNO or if that’s just her hair in movement.

Dakota’s younger sister Elle (not pictured) joined her in the FNO celebration. They’ll both be in town to catch some shows during New York Fashion Week.

Leighton Meester in Carven | Fashion's Night Out NY

Like most of the boutiques in NYC last night, it was a packed house at Tiffany & Co’s where “Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester made an appearance and performed for the many attendees taking part in Fashion’s Night Out.

Leighton wore a cloudy printed maxi dress from Carven‘s resort 2012 collection and a delicate Tiffany & Co. star necklace. No other accessories were needed last night — other than Leighton’s guitar and a mic.

Vanessa Hudgens in All Saints | Fashion’s Night Out NY

Vanessa Hudgens showed off her new cropped haircut while celebrating FNO by hosting/guest-deejaying at the PopChips Playland party where she wore the “Ayame” maxi dress by All Saints which features an leather equestrian body harness across the top of the dress.

The dress was cool but I don’t think it suited Vanessa very well. Perhaps when her hair was longer it would have looked a little bit better, but instead it was so conflicting with her lady like bag and suede Yves Saint Laurent pumps. The dress was very snug at the waist of the dress which made it appear to be a size too small for Vanessa.

I liked her attempt, but I’m not a huge fan of the delivery. I wonder why she selected such an edgy dress for the carnival-styled event.

Shantel VanSanten made sure to take in the FNO festivities Zac Posen style when she celebrated the night with the designer, Ashley Tisdale, and her “One Tree Hill” co-star Sophia Bush.

Shantel kept her look simple and cool by wearing a Z Spoke resort 2012 long-sleeve knit black dress that she paired with an eye catching vintage silver, black, and turquoise statement necklace.

I wish I could have gotten a glimpse at her shoes for the night, but knowing Shantel, they were probably a pair of platform sandals with a sky high heel. Perfect…just not for a lot of walking. Hopefully Shantel spent most of her night at one party.

Ashley Greene in Marc Jacobs | Fashion’s Night Out NY

What better way for MARK. spokeswoman Ashley Greene to celebrate FNO this year than with the brand along with her friend and hairstylist Ted Gibson at his salon! The two mingled with friends and fans while they showed you how to get glamorized.

The “Butter” actress wore a brown crinkled organza dress by Marc Jacobs which she paired with a calf-hair clutch by Diane von Furstenberg and matching snakeskin “Cosmic” pumps by Jimmy Choo.

Ashley’s center-parted slicked back ponytail was undoubtedly done by Ted. I’m sure it allowed Ashley to party the night away without getting a hair out of place. I loved the different look on her and her make-up highlighted her sharp and pretty features — as usual.

Side note: I’m totally loving Ted’s deep purple tie. It’s always stylish to add a pop of color to a dark suit.

Sophia Bush in Lela Rose | Fashion’s Night Out NY

Sophia Bush looked simply stunning in a Lela Rose resort 2012 dress while party hopping during Fashion’s Night Out last night in New York.

Sophia kicked off her night co-hosting the BCBGMAXAZRIA party before heading over to Diane von Furstenberg‘s fête. She met up with her “One Tree Hill” co-star Shantel VanSanten at the Z Spoke party before ending her night at the Dolce & Gabbana event hosted by Justin Bieber.

I was at the D&G party earlier in the night so I just missed Sophia, but it would have been nice to see her again. She’s always a sweetheart!

I love that she paired her metallic gold clutch to the belt she wore as it added to the glamour of the gown and the night. I can’t wait to see the looks Sophia will be wearing when she undoubtedly attends quite a few shows this New York Fashion Week.

Brooklyn Decker in Dolce & Gabbana | Fashion’s Night Out NY

Brooklyn Decker in Dolce & Gabbana | Fashion's Night Out NY

Brooklyn Decker was one of the many celebrities who paid a visit to Justin Bieber as he hosted one of the hottest parties of the night at Dolce & Gabbana.

Brooklyn wore a lace lingerie inspired dress from the fall 2011 collection which she paired with contrasting and oh-so-sassy leopard Miu Miu platform sandals. I’ve seen this dress recycled in many different prints by a slew of ladies, but I love the take on it Brooklyn gave with her shoes. She could have played it safe in black pumps, but I guess she too can not resist a good leopard shoe.

Maybe I just want the excuse to wear leopard shoes with everything.
