MY VERDICT:  Ginnifer lit up the Vanity Fair Oscar celebration in her oceanic cocktail dress by Monique Lhuillier.  The “Once Upon a Time” actress shimmered her way into the party wearing the Spring 2013 racer structured knee-length design, which is covered in pearlized shell embroidery and features hidden pockets.  The bright and bold blue was electrifying against Ginny’s porcelain complexion and dark hair.

As a long-time fan of the sparkling number, I have to say that I’m pleased with how it was worn.  But, truth be told, I can’t imagine anyone making a wrong decision with this frock.  | continue reading..

WHERE & WHEN: 15th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards on February 19, 2013.
WEARING: Misha Nonoo dress, Christian Louboutin shoes & Roger Vivier clutch.

MY VERDICT: Ginnifer brightened up the dull grey carpet at the Costume Designers Guild Awards when she stepped out in a lipstick red short sleeve gown by Misha Nonoo.  The “Once Upon a Time” star, who was joined by her co-star and boyfriend Josh Dallas (in a Z Zegna tuxedo), looked beautiful and quite effortless in the full-length Spring 2013 design with striped sheer panels at the bottom.  The see-through detail gave you a peek at her nude Christian Louboutin pumps.  I think a crystal-encrusted shoe would have been a fun choice as Ginny would have added a touch of shimmer with every step.  She completed her look with a delicate gold bangle, her pixie cut brushed to the side and minimal makeup.

For the stars who made occasional unlawful style choices—or were simply staight up repeat offenders. 

1. Ke$ha

Oh, don’t tell me you’re surprised by this. I like a few of Ke$ha’s songs, and I can appreciate that as a dance artist she likes to take it over the top—but, some things should never be worn together. Over the last twelve months, the “Die Young” singer has worn some absolutely ridiculous get ups. I liked her galaxy blazer she wore during a concert in December and her side braided hair looked cool, and then….everything else happened.

Ginnifer Goodwin looked like a little doll on the red carpet last night when she arrived for the 2012 American Music Awards wearing a pretty pink Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress.

The “Once Upon a Time” actress was in attendance of the 40th anniversary of the awards ceremony to present alongside her costar Jennifer Morrison. Ginny wore a light pink floral guipure embroidered dress from Mr. de la Renta’s Resort 2013 runway collection, which she complimented with silver mirrored accessories.

Wow, talk about making a bold statement on the red carpet! Ginnifer Goodwin took a risk when she attended the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards this evening wearing a nude gown with neon orange floral embroidery.

The “Once Upon a Time” star selected this dramatic gown from the Resort 2013 collection by Monique Lhuillier, which features a leather belt and a high-rising front to show off your shoes. Just like the dress Nina Dobrev wore to the Toronto Film Festival this month, this is the only type of “mullet dress” I can tolerate.

The 34-year-old actress arrived at Fig & Olive Melrose Place wearing a two-tone blue dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Jenny Packham, which had silver embellishments in an Aztec pattern along the base of the dress as well as sparkling crystal detail at the cuffs of her long sleeves and the crew-neckline.
