MY VERDICT: Freida wore the color of the year when she attended the NAACP Image Awards in emerald green.  The 28-year-old actress wore a modified single-shoulder version of a silk-satin gown from James Ferreira‘s Fall 2012 runway collection.  I really liked the cascading beading across the bodice, but my favorite part of the dress was definitely the loose draping towards the hem.  Freida kept her accessories minimal with diamond jewelry from Jacob & Co. and a gold minaudière.

Long soft waves and coordinating makeup helped complete her award show look.

WHERE & WHEN: “Warm Bodies” Hollywood premiere on January 29, 2013.

MY VERDICT: In honor of her new zombie film, the Australian actress looked beautiful as she slipped into a dramatic lace “Narcissa” gown by Philip Armstrong.  Considering I find the red background and carpet too harsh for anything but a solid color outfit, I’m glad Teresa wore black; she didn’t clash, and I could focus on the overall appearance.  It was nice to see her pass on something short and predictable; the fit was good and the design had a cool feminine edge about it.

I’m really into the leather and lace look, so the bodice is obviously my favorite part.  We’ve been graced with plenty of similar sheer designs on the red carpet lately, but the trend was isolated to the bodice instead of being excessive here. I can’t help but like it. | continue reading..

Busy Philipps proudly displayed her growing belly in a custom made Gabriela Cadena navy blue long sleeve silk dress.  The “Cougar Town” actress, who recently announced her second pregnancy added some boldness to her look with a colorful one-of-a-kind Irene Neuwirth statement necklace and a matching embellished clutch by Judith Leiber.  A scarlet red lip, gathered mane and Brian Atwood “Stearling” shoes were the finishing touches.

Alexis Bledel like Jessica Pare, the 31-year-old actress also opted to wear a brilliant shade of emerald green at the SAGs this year. I love the color and pleated detailing of her structured Rena Lange dress, and the way her beautiful vintage House of Lavende colorful crystal necklace sat amongst the deep v-neckline. WHERE & WHEN: 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 13, 2013.

MY VERDICT: Kelly was one of the first to arrive on the Golden Globe red carpet as she had hosting duties for E! Fashion Police.  The 28-year-old turned to Zac Posen once again for her award ceremony look by selecting the pale mint strapless corset gown from his Resort 2013 collection, which featured a structured fishtail skirt. Although this fails to top the lilac number she donned for the Primetime Emmys last year, I happen to really like this dress on Kelly.  She often wears white to balance out with her bright purple hair, and I’ve grown tired of that, so it was good to see her change it up—even if the step was small.

She finished off with emerald jewelry, a light blue clutch, and a side-gathered glamour curls.

Miranda Lambert was all about showing off some leg last night when she attended the 2012 American Country Awards.  The 29-year-old Country singer wore a long sleeve black Reem Acra dress, from the Fall 2012 collection, which featured a mock neck and silver sparkling geometric pattern throughout.

I really liked the dress on the runway, but the too-snug fit and shorter hem on Miranda wasn’t as appealing.  I think if she wore a dress that just below her knee, it would flatter her much more.  I wish I could say the dress was the only problem with her look, but I’m not really sure what’s going on with her super intense “sock bun” and sharp loose pieces.  | continue reading..

On Friday night, Diane Kruger stepped out on the red carpet for a dazzling evening at the beautiful Salle Empire, Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo, Monaco with her beau Joshua Jackson.

The two actors were in attendance for a special charity cocktail soirée and dinner, hosted by Jacob Arabo of Jacob & Co., to support The Princess Charlene Foundation and the Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy. After gracing the red carpet at the MET Gala in her ethereal white Donna Karan Atelier gown, Ashley Greene slipped into a fun little black dress when she hit up the after party at Crown on Monday night.

The 25-year-old actress showed off her toned legs in this short sleeve mini by Donna Karan with mesh side paneling.

I’m a fan of short sleeve and long-sleeve dresses. Sometimes it’s best to stay covered up top when you’re showing off a lot of leg like Ashley is here. This was a cute and comfortable dress for her to party the night away in. | continue reading..

Ashley Greene was a vision in a white grecian Donna Karan Atelier gown tonight when she hit the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2012 ‘Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations’ Costume Institute Gala.

This gown was designed especially for her from Karan’s new high evening collection!

Silk chiffon pleats wrapped around Ashley’s toned figure which accentuated the stunning stone encrusted sequin bustier. Engineered placements peaked through. Upon a closer look, you’ll see that over the pleating was a gorgeous draped beaded fringe that was made up of silver-lined bugles, sea beads, and opaque optic white which were created to give the look multiple dimension. | continue reading..

Jaws dropped when Jennifer Lawrence arrived at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live tonight for the Hollywood premiere of “The Hunger Games”. Mine included.

She made her way down the black carpet, lined with swarms of fans that she stopped to sign autographs for, in a gleaming metallic gold gown by Prabal Gurung.

The 21-year-old actress plays the heroine role of Katniss Everdeen — known as “the girl on fire”, and I don’t know about you, but Jenn was certainly on fire tonight in this cut-out gown hot off the Fall 2012 New York Fashion Week runway. | continue reading..

The 24-year-old actress, and current face of DKNY, was dressed to impress donning a custom-designed leather and lace dress!
