MY VERDICT: Jennifer Aniston took the stage with Jeffrey Ross to roast comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who was the recipient of the “Funniest M.F.” award this weekend during Spike TV’s Guys Choice 2013 Awards. The “We’re the Millers” actress stuck by her usual little black dress uniform by rocking a strapless Christian Dior wool and silk bustier cocktail dress with a cascading pink and orange organza side ruffle insert, from the Spring 2013 collection. Jen kept it simple, but the dress was still pretty cute.

She completed the look with gunmetal strappy sandals, and did something new with her hair — Jen rocked a single side woven braid. I love that, and will definitely be giving it a try this summer!

WEARING: Valentino Haute Couture

MY VERDICT: Jennifer gave her black dresses the night off and turned to lipstick red for the Academy Awards this year.  The 44-year-old actress arrived for the ceremony wearing a strapless full ball gown from the Valentino Spring 2013 Haute Couture collection.  I adore the simple elegance of the dress, which is the very reason I had included it on my Oscar Wish List.  Although I was a big fan of Jen’s diamond gems and matching red minaudière, the lack of doing absolutely anything with her hair kind of bummed me out. I mean, it’s the Oscars—treat it as such.

MY VERDICT: Jennifer passed on the red carpet, but we got a clear view of her chosen outfit when she accepted an award during the PCAs ceremony.  The 43-year-old actress rocked a little black leather Christian Dior dress, a modified non-presented look from the Resort 2013 collection.  I’m completely unsurprised by Jen’s choice as she rarely ever strays from a black or black-and-white ensemble.  With her signature layered tresses in sleek strands, she completed her look with Tom Ford black sandals with a crystal encrusted heel. Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore skipped walking the carpet at Saturday night’s 2012 LACMA Art + Film Gala to honor Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick, but the gal-pals were spotted at the event with their significant others matching in all-black.

Jenn and her finacé both wore head-to-toe Tom Ford, and while Justin looked great in a classic suit–it shouldn’t be any surprise that my attention was more-so directed on the dangerous plunging neck silk-satin gown that Jennifer wore. She wasn’t at too much of a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ risk due to the illusion fabric at the center of her dress, but still, wow.

Drew and her husband Will Kopelman were all smiles due to becoming newlyweds and new parents to baby girl Olive. The 37-year-old actress looked beautiful in a button-down tunic dress and matching leggings by Lanvin. She added a dash of color with a pair of purple velvet platform strappy sandals and a matching metallic box clutch.

Look at this, no black dress in sight!

Jennifer Aniston went for an all-white look on Thursday night when she attended the 40th AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony, to honor actress Shirley MacLaine.

The 43-year-old got glam in a crossover floor-length chalk gown designed by Christopher Bailey for Burberry. The design featured spaghetti-thin straps and a high slight in the front of the skirt to show off Jenn’s t-bar, strappy python bone sandals.

Jennifer Aniston didn’t walk the red carpet last night, but she was still able to show off her skin-tight black leather dress when she took the stage at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards to accept her golden popcorn for ‘Best On-Screen Dirtbag’.

The 43-year-old actress is no stranger to short, black mini dresses — in fact, we usually see her in them all the time. The good thing about is that she always looks fab in them, and this time around wasn’t any different.

Jenn wore a single-shoulder leather dress by Valentino with a large rosette element at the shoulder. I’m not sure if the ruching was an intentional part of the look or if this was just due to the form-fitting design, but I wish it was smoother.

She accessorized with large gold Fred Leighton earrings that peeked out from her super straight, signature ‘do before finishing off her look with a sheer manicure and metal plated Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
