Jennifer Garner in Roland Mouret | 2013 BAFTAs

Jennifer Garner in Roland Mouret | 2013 BAFTAsPhotos: Zimbio; Style.com
WHO: Jennifer Garner
WHERE & WHEN: 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards on February 10, 2013.
WEARING: Roland Mouret dress, Roger Vivier clutch & Forevermark jewelry.

MY VERDICT: It’s too bad that Jennifer isn’t promoting a movie nomination this season, because she’s had better red carpet moments in the past few weeks than she has the past few years.  Mrs. Affleck shined at the BAFTAs wearing a well-structured Roland Mouret “Alava” grey and black color-block gown.  This dress was originally seen shorten with a green skirt on the Spring 2013 runway, but I think the split peplum is better complimented by the floor-length hemline.  With her hair swept back, Jen was able to show off her long diamond Forevermark earrings that matched her bracelets.

One of my favorite parts of the look was actually her nail polish choice–I’m obsessed with that steel blue-grey color.

Jennifer Garner in Oscar de la Renta | 2013 SAG Awards

WHO: Jennifer Garner
WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.
WEARING: Oscar de la Renta dress, Brian Atwood shoes & David Webb jewelry.

MY VERDICT: While Helen Hunt donned a strapless platinum gown, Jennifer turned to a shimmering gold.  The 40-year-old actress, who was in attendance to support her husband Ben Affleck and his film “Argo”, wore a gorgeous giupure lace and sequin embroidered Oscar de la Renta column gown, from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection.  It’s official, Jen is two for two because she, once again, hit a home run.  I love the color, embellishments, silhouette—everything.  She kept the accessories as minimal as possible since her dress was so bold, but made sure to include a gold diamond chain link David Webb bracelet and a complimenting clutch. Bouncy big curls and subtle makeup topped it all off. | continue reading..

Jennifer Garner in Oscar de la Renta | 2013 Producers Guild Awards

WHO: Jennifer Garner
WHERE & WHEN: 24th Annual Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills on January 26, 2013.
WEARING: Oscar de la Renta dress, Brian Atwood shoes, Roger Vivier bag & Cartier jewelry.

MY VERDICT: After wow-ing in a vivid red gown earlier this month, Jen seemed to take a bit of a break from bold, and wore something a little shorter, but sassy, last night for the PGAs.  I like the silhouette and Chantilly lace pattern, and finally these chunky platform Brian Atwood satin “Hamper” pumps really, really worked with a cocktail dress.  The heavy style balanced out with the full ruffled hem of her sheath dress.  I’m glad she didn’t leave her hair completely out even though the neckline was kind of bare; this half-up do showed off her diamond earrings.  I didn’t love this look on Jen, but I didn’t dislike it either.  I will say that I’m excited to see what she will wear tonight for the SAG Awards. | continue reading..

Jennifer Garner in Vivienne Westwood Couture | 2013 Golden Globes

WHO: Jennifer Garner
WHERE & WHEN: 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 13, 2013.
WEARING: Vivienne Westwood Couture dress, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes

MY VERDICT: I have a stubborn love for anything Jen Garner wears; there are some things I like, but most of the time I want to like it—but, I never do.  Clearly that wasn’t the case at the Golden Globes this year because she was darn-near flawless in a Vivienne Westwood Couture burgundy sequin “Riding” strapless gown.  The gathered bust and dazzling detail is breathtaking, and I love how she wore her hair up in a wavy ponytail with face framing tendrils that highlighted her gold earrings.  This might be one of her Jennifer’s best red carpet appearances to date, at least I think so—and I doubt many would disagree.

She completed her sparkling gem of a look with a pair of Ferragamo burgundy red satin peep toe platform pumps.

Jennifer Garner in Roberto Cavalli | “Argo” Washington D.C. Premiere

After two very successful premiere looks, it appears that red took a backseat when Jennifer Garner selected her gown for the “Argo” premiere in Washington, D.C. last night. Her husband Ben Affleck directed the film in which he also stars.

Jennifer arrived at Regal Gallery Place Stadium 14 wearing a ruched v-neck silk gown by Roberto Cavalli in a rich dark teal with a black lace-and-sequin trim inset at the neckline.

Walking on the side of “less is more”, Jen wore very little make-up and no jewelry — other than her wedding rings. She then completed her look with a center-parted smooth hairstyle that traveled into big bouncy curls at the ends.

After two recently successful red dresses and a peppy printed shift, Jennifer Garner swapped fashion places with her “Butter” co-star Ashley Greene and attended Variety’s 4th annual Power of Women event on Friday in a neutral dress.

Jen selected a brown-beige tweed knit wool blend sleeveless dress by Givenchy with a banded waist and small ruffles at each hip ($3,160, barneys.com).  She made sure to turn for the cameras to show off the contoured peplum skirt. | continue reading..

Jennifer Garner in Monique Lhuillier | “Argo” Beverly Hills Premiere

I thought Jennifer Garner looked really nice on the red carpet on Thursday night when she stepped out for the premiere of “Argo” at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

The 40-year-old actress got glam in a Monique Lhuillier gown as she supported her husband Ben Affleck, who stars in the film. She selected a sexy sweetheart mermaid silk dress from Lhuillier’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection.

Although, I feel like something is severely lacking without the corset belt from the catwalk — sorry, it’s just not the same — I can’t deny that this was another red carpet win for Jen. | continue reading..

Jennifer Garner was all bright smiles when she attended the late morning press conference and photocall for her new movie “Butter” on Wednesday in New York City.

The 40-year-old actress kept her daytime look very minimal, yet bold in print.

Jen wore a sleeveless green-and-black diamond pattern shift dress by Prada and paired it with gold delicate bracelets, smooth tresses, barely-there make-up and a sassy pair of black cutout laser floral Mary-Jane pumps by Valentino. | continue reading..

Jennifer Garner supported her husband Ben Affleck when she stepped out on the red carpet last night for the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his new movie “Argo” looking better than I’ve seen her in a long time!

The 40-year-old actress dazzled in a Valentino black sleeveless cocktail dress, from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection, which featured a sparkling crystal lattice embroidered bodice with sheer illusion lining. | continue reading..
