MY VERDICT: I can easily say that Kelley was one of my favorite dressed ladies on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet this year. The “Pitch Perfect” star exuded spring time beauty in her sunny yellow Contrarian New York halter neck “Hayes” dress that featured a sassy open back. I love the way Kelley enhanced her ensemble with some citrus inspiration with a juicy coral “Lucca” patent clutch by Lauren Merkin that matched her gorgeous LOFT crystal necklace. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: I think Ashley looked so sweet last night at the premiere in her sleeveless Philip Armstrong cocktail dress. The fit-and-flare silhouette was young and fun, while the cream lace bodice added some sophistication to the colorblock style.  I really like how she got playful with her shoes and opted for funky black strappy platform “Temptress” sandals by Walter Steiger, which featured the signature curved heel.  I’m obsessed with that heel!  It’s a subtle detail, and I don’t know if it was intentional, but the shape of her shoe actually complimented her hairstyle—a heightened ponytail!  She polished her ‘do off with a black leather headband by Jennifer Behr.  With a glamorous smoky eye and nude pout makeup palette, Ash completed her look with a Lauren Merkin “Lucca” clutch in black suede with patent leather trim and Norman Silverman 18k white gold and black diamond stud earrings that are surrounded in pave diamonds. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: To think, I thought Helen Hunt in that navy dress last weekend was as good as it got with her—and then she had to go and “wow” the heck out of me last night wearing a gorgeous lace inset dress by Philip Armstrong.  The “Sessions” actress selected the “Roxanna” crimson stretch crepe column gown with crystal trimmed lace paneling at the shoulder, waist and back, which comes from the designer’s Atelier collection.  It fit her like a dream;  she was so elegant that when I recall all of the looks from the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards this year, I can’t help but see her as a stand-out favorite of mine.

No one works a gold dress quite like Taylor Swift.

As much as I love seeing the 22-year-old singer in a vivid red from time to time, I find that a pretty shimmering gold is so flattering on her.  I guess she knows that too, or else she probably wouldn’t wear so much of it, huh?

After testing out some solid white looks as well as lots and lots of red, Taylor Swift returned to her goldie roots with a shimmering outfit last night for the 2012 American Music Awards–which served as honoring the 40th anniversary of the ceremony.

The “Begin Again” singer hit the red carpet and showed off a lot of leg in her long-sleeve, floral embroidered dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Zuhair Murad.  The short dress features all over gold beadwork and a draping open back that Taylor proudly displayed with a sweet twisted up ‘do that I just had to put some focus on with the close-up photo below. | continue reading..

Maggie Grace may star as a dangerous revenge-seeking vampire in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, but the lovely blonde actress looked pretty and sweet as can be on the black carpet for the Los Angeles premiere in her Bibhu Mohapatra gown that was a beautiful rich emerald green.

The 29-year-old actress arrived at the Nokia Theatre L.A. On Friday night, Rag & Bone celebrated the opening of their new flagship store in Los Angeles with a night of drinks, music and stars–including actors like Emma Roberts, Kate Mara, Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon!

It was a quite the swanky affair last night when the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills quickly filled up with some of the most talented ladies (and fellas) in Tinseltown as they came together to help honor their fellow actors at ELLE Magazine’s annual Women In Hollywood event.

Ellie Kemper kept it chic in an ivory Moschino peplum cocktail dress with a ruffled neckline, from the Fall 2011 collection. I really love that she added some color to her look with deep red accessories. She carried a patent clutch with matching pumps before topping it all off with 18k white gold earrings with rubies and diamonds from Katerina Maxine.

“Glee” actress Naya Rivera also opted for a Fall 2011 dress by Moschino; a yellow cream sleeveless shift dress with light pin-tucking at the waist. She also opted for red accessories, including a gold and bordeaux tube clutch that she partnered with velvet open toe platform Tory Burch pumps.
