MY VERDICT: To think, I thought the gold dress that Debby wore over the weekend was going to be a tough act to follow.  The “Jessie” actress looked stunning in her beautiful dove grey Lisa Ho silk tulle bustier gown when she attended Elton John’s Oscars viewing party.  This Spring 2012 floor-length dress, which features slightly edgy v-neck halter straps, was originally seen on the runway in bright blue, and while I think the vibrant shade would have looked just as lovely against Deb’s fiery tresses, I’m really liking the soft approach she took. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Considering vintage rock tees and a classic blazer is usual a go-to wardrobe staple for me, I was an immediate fan of what Debby wore to the “Friends ‘N’ Family” Pre-GRAMMY event.  The “Jessie” star selected a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band “Pink Cadillac” vintage sleeveless tee to partner with a Lisa Ho blazer, from the Spring 2012 collection.  Adding a ladylike touch, Debby opted for Katharine Kidd  stretch silk satin leggings with laser cut flower detail.  I like that she stayed in a obvious comfort zone, but polished the ensemble off with perfectly sculpted ginger curls and Christian Louboutin stilettos.  If there was ever a time to wear a tee on the red carpet, a musical event is the perfect setting. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Sporting her new fringe hairstyle, Sophia rocked this bash wearing a shortened version of a midnight “Zig Zag” beaded strapless dress from Lisa Ho ‘s Spring 2012 runway collection.  I personally like the floor-length style more, and would have liked to see it on Soph, but that’s not to say she didn’t look fabulous in this frayed georgette mini.  Passing on a predictable black pump or strappy sandals, she selected bold silver Jimmy Choo “Anouk” pointed toe pumps to match her glittering Foley + Corinna silver “Cadeau” clutch.  | continue reading..

The “New Girl” actress wore a plum satin organza ruffle sleeve cocktail dress with black tights and matching suede pumps.
