MY VERDICT: Before hitting the premiere in a lace Tadashi Shoji gown, Ashley joined her “Spring Breakers” costars Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, and Rachel Korine at the early photocall in Spain.  The 23-year-old rocked a sexy ensemble from IZMAYLOVA, which included a single short-sleeve cutout peplum top that she partnered with a knee-length paneled sheer skirt with orange beaded detail at the hip and hem.

It was an interesting choice, no doubt.  This top was originally presented with a velvet long skirt featuring a slit at the side.  If it had been shortened, I feel like it would have been a better choice for Ashley.  The sheerness is throwing me off a bit.  She wore her blonde hair in tumbling curls before finishing with soft makeup and classic black pumps.

MY VERDICT: I was hoping it would happen, and it did. Vanessa wore a really, really cute outfit to the Madrid photocall of her new movie “Spring Breakers”.  The 24-year-old actress didn’t try to over-do it with a voluminous fit or too much going on this time around when she stepped out in a lightweight white Chantilly lace long sleeve crop top and matching a-line skirt by Katharine Kidd, from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection.  It was trendy, young, flattering, and most of all–really cute.

Vanessa coordinated with the laid back feel of the look by styling her shoulder-length tresses in bouncy waves and finishing it all off with a pop of color.  | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Vanessa provided a much needed burst of color at the Madrid premiere of “Spring Breakers” while her costars Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson kept it classic in head-to-toe black.  The 24-year-old petite actress turned to Julien Macdonald for her dress; a vibrant lipstick red halterneck dress from his Fall 2012 Bespoke collection, which features a sexy high thigh slit and all-over silver crystal and beaded embroidery. I think the embellishing is really cool, and very unique—it almost appears as though she’s wearing a shattered mirror. MY VERDICT: For the Madrid stop on the “Spring Breakers” international press tour, Ashley arrived on the red carpet at the Capitol Cinema wearing a dramatic Spring 2013 silk-chiffon gown by Tadashi Shoji, which featured a center slit in the skirt and gathered draping details that revealed romantic floral lace insets at the v-neckline and both sides of the waist.  This was a pretty serious choice for Ashley that was much more grown up from the previous two gowns that she donned on the tour. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT:  Is it too early to already call my favorite look for Selena Gomez on the “Spring Breakers” press tour? I’m going to go with “no” and express my love for the Dolce & Gabbana black lace bustier gown she wore.  The 20-year-old flaunted her curves in the sexy corset gown, which featured strips of satin panel embroidery that traveled down into the train.  It was so minimal and classic, but also very sexy without being overtly so.

MY VERDICT: Selena added a burst of tropical color to her morning look when she attended the early photocall for “Spring Breakers” in Spain.  The 20-year-old baby-faced actress wore a split long-sleeve combo dress from the Spring 2013 collection by Blumarine, an off-runway design featuring a fluorescent lemongrass silk bodice with a keyhole center opening and scattered floral patterns in black and white.  The upper print complimented the white pencil skirt that was double bordered at the high-waist in black. Selena partnered the dress with black leather Casadei pumps with a crystal-encrusted blade heel. | continue reading..

WHERE & WHEN: 40 Principales Awards 2012 in Spain on January 24, 2013.
WEARING: Victoria Beckham dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes

MY VERDICT: Alicia was kind of all over the place with her look on the blue carpet for the 40 Principales Awards. She opted for a sexy sheer bodice Victoria Beckham dress, and although I like a pencil cut skirt on the singer, the chest area was pretty ill-fitting. It wasn’t very… up-lifting.  As for the bottom half of her outfit,  a thick crisscrossing ankle strap on a shoe isn’t flattering when you have a wide or strong athletic calf.  These Giuseppe Zanotti sandals are totally cutting her legs off.  The outfit was cocktail ready, but everything above the neck wasn’t.  I wonder why she opted for such an intense hairstyle and jewelry that I would expect to see at a very formal event? MY VERDICT: Dang, Taylor keeps getting better and better with her red carpet style!  The 23-year-old singer posed on the blue carpet tonight in Madrid where she donned a short and super sassy ice linear crystal encrusted long sleeve Kaufmanfranco shift dress, from the Spring 2013 collection—which featured a daring rectangle cut plunging illusion neckline.  As if that wasn’t surprising enough for Miss Swift’s evolving look, she paired it with super high platform “Dufoura” sandals by Christian Louboutin with sheer and metallic straps. Whoa, hello.  Taylor could have ramped up the sex-appeal with a sharp ponytail, but I like that she softened things up with loose curls and dazzling diamonds (Ofira earrings, Lorraine Schwartz ring). | continue reading..

Rosamund Pike joined her costar Tom Cruise as they continued their “Jack Reacher” international press tour last night with a premiere at the Callao cinema in Madrid, Spain. The 33-year-old English actress bared some leg in a gold embroidered long sleeve cocktail dress by Emilio Pucci.  It’s very subtle, but I like the twisted dragon pattern along the front of the design.

Kristen Stewart wore a spike-embellished dress for a photocall and a bright yellow mini during her time in Madrid this week, but I have to say my favorite look of all was what she wore during an appearance on the variety show “El Hormiguero”. This was her first time back since promoting “Snow White and the Huntsman” earlier this year.

The 22-year-old beauty bared some serious leg in a pair of leather panel shorts and sexy printed heels when she joined her Twi-castmates Robert Pattinson (in McQ Alexander McQueen) and Taylor Lautner on Thursday to chat about “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″.  On the show, the trio talked “Twilight”, watched a magic trick and played a funny game where they had to be blindfolded and hit a buzzer at exactly thirty seconds to prevent a contestant from being slimed.
