The beautiful “Martha Marcy May Marlene” actress looked fantastic in a dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Proenza Schouler. Her long-sleeve black bodice with a twisted plunging keyhole detail that spanned out into a gorgeous orange floral print calf-length skirt with grey leaves was a stand out on the red carpet. | continue reading..
The 22-year-old actress selected the yellow and ivory lace embroidered longsleeve cocktail dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Emilio Pucci.
I love yellow, the mosaic detail throughout the design is very pretty, and it fits her really well. I could see her in this at a premiere or even more of a low-key awards ceremony. The CCMA may not be the Golden Globes, but I really wanted her to ‘bring it’ tonight.
I’m hoping for a major red carpet moment from her this season. | continue reading..
The “Martha Marcy May Marlene” was donned in an crystal beaded embroidered floor-length dress with nude underlining from the Resort 2012 collection by Valentino.
Elizabeth is a beautiful girl, and I adored her pinned under hairstyle with golden ringlets framing her face. Her make-up was equally flawless; from the neck up she was a true stunner.
While lovely, this isn’t the dress I would have selected for her. The silhouette lacks in giving her a definite shape. The nude lining at the neckline is supposed to play into a cowl design, but it just looks odd the way it’s falling. It’s as if a piece of the dress that’s supposed to be tucked in is sticking out.
On the upside, I think the color of the gown is much, much prettier on the red carpet than when it was photographed for the presentation. I also love the blush color of her satin clutch — it worked with the dress.
Elizabeth is wearing Kwiat jewels and Valentino sandals.
Elizabeth Olsen headed to London to promote “Martha Marcy May Marlene” and attended the red carpet premiere tonight during the 55th BFI London Film Festival where it was held at the Vue West End.
Elizabeth wore a pink beaded embroidered top and tulle skirt from the Spring/Summer 2011 Haute Couture collection by Chanel. She accessorized with a black & white diamond “Camelia Nervure” ring and the “Premiere” pave all diamond watch from Chanel Fine Jewelry. | continue reading..
Elizabeth Olsen arrived at the screening for her new movie “Martha Marcy May Marlene” tonight during the 2011 Mill Valley Film Festival in San Rafael, California. Elizabeth arrived on the red carpet at the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center wearing a top and skirt from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Preen.
Elizabeth’s look didn’t quite make the runway but the layered necklace at the collar of her top was featured in variations on a few other looks. I’m not sure how I feel about the top pairing with it, but I really like her pleated paisley “Funnel” skirt. The panels are a mixture of prints and fabric, half is silk-georgette while the other is sateen.
Elizabeth Olsen attended the 49th annual New York Film Festival presentation of “Martha Marcy May Marlene” tonight which was held at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center.
The 22-year-old actress wore a stunning Alexander McQueen high neck black dress featuring tiered pleated ruffles at the neck and bottom of the dress with sheer insets. The swapping of the black leather belt on the model in favor of the gold was a brilliant choice as it went well with the detail of her Punk Skull clutch and shoes.
Speaking of the shoes — I’m a tad obsessed with the suede peep-toe platform with a fin shaped wedge heel and straps filled with gold and onyx jewel embellishments. They’re so cool it’s ridiculous, and they transition from red carpet to street wear easily. | continue reading..
Sarah Paulson was obviously going for a comfortable fun look tonight at the TIFF premiere of “Martha Marcy May Marlene” premiere when the actress arrived on the red carpet in a vibrant purple Marc Jacobs organza dress.
The beauty of wearing this dress that has many folds in the crinkle design is that it already has a “wrinkled look” and you can feel pretty confident in front of the cameras that you don’t have any faux pas going on. I love the young feel Sarah brought to the party dress with her rose gold hoop earrings, casual hair, light make-up and her satin “Marcela” pumps by Brian Atwood.
Style runs in the Olsen family, of this I am convinced. Mary-Kate and Ashley have obviously influenced baby sister Elizabeth Olsen, because the 20-year-old actress is lovely in this Erdem resort gown at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of “Martha Marcy May Marlene”.
The rich floral blend in the gorgeous dark shades of pink, teal, purple, and red is perfect for the transition from summer into early fall. I’m unsure of what shoes Elizabeth wore due to the floor-sweeping length of her gown, but my fingers are crossed that they’re either teal or purple. I do know that Elizabeth accessorized with a lovely Salvatore Ferragamo stingray minaudière and Kara Ackerman “GemGirls” star charm and evil eye bracelets in rose gold that she paired with her “Tallulah” stacking ring. Elizabeth also wore a melted pave “Galaxy” ring by Melinda Maria and a rose gold “Karly Beth” ring from Dana Rebecca Designs.
Like most starlets, Elizabeth could have left her hair loose or pulled tightly, but I love the young and fresh half-up style. Thumbs up all around.
