MY VERDICT: After enjoying Super Bowl festivities over the weekend, Ashley returned to New York City where she attended the amfAR New York Gala to kick off New York Fall 2013 Fashion Week.  The 25-year-old “Breaking Dawn” actress looked beautiful in a ivory crepe Giambattista Valli column gown with a twisted halter neck.  I love the clean lines of this silhouette, but despite liking the keyhole detail, after seeing the elegant folded design on the model, I find myself wishing Ashley’s had been closed as well.  That being said, I adore the enchanting gold leaf motif at the waist; it really brightens up the look further and gives it character.

It only helps that Ashley’s dark espresso locks were styled in glamorous side-parted curls—a look I much prefer on her over the center-part.  Yes, it really makes a difference.  | continue reading..

Rose Byrne looked quite polished when she attended Lucky Magazine’s party celebrating New York Fashion Week on Sept. 7th.

The “Bridesmaids” actress arrived to the soirèe wearing a beautiful black georgette jersey gown with tan leather contrast straps from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Michael Kors.

I found the design to be very reminiscent of a red dress from the Pre-Fall 2011 collection (pictured above), and while I adored that scarlet floor-length frock and crisscrossed leather straps — I think I love the sleek style of Rose’s gown even more!

She finished off her look with a diamond bracelet, voluminous curls and a nude lip.

Diane Kruger and Emma Stone reunited shortly after sitting front row at the Calvin Klein Collection fashion show, held during New York Fashion Week this past Thursday (September 13), by attending a private dinner in celebration of CK’s Women’s Creative Director Francisco Costa that night at the Beatrice Inn in New York City.

Diane, who’s also the face of the CK fragrance “Beauty”, posed with Francisco while donned in a Calvin Klein yellow midi-length cocktail dress with cutouts at the top to reveal a matching bandeau top. Sporting super long wavy brunette extensions with a gold woven headpiece, Lady Gaga sat atop the back of a vintage Cadillac car as she arrived to the launch party for “FAME”, her black Eau de Parfum, held at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum on New York’s Upper East Side. This exclusive masquerade soirèe officially closed out New York Fashion Week.

Mother Monster was draped in a black mink shawl that she wore over her dark crystal beaded tulle gown by Prabal Gurung, which was modified from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection.
